That is exciting news, which series of chairs will you be stocking and will you have them out in the showroom as i'd prefer to try before buying?

we will be listing formula and maximum

sadly we will not have them in the shop due to the cost of them.

we have plenty of AK Racing premium chairs in the shop to try and they are the same thing in terms of comfort and design.

Think i really should have went for the K version of the DXRacer chair, could do with the extra 10cm or so height, i think i'm better off with my ergonomic chair.

Edit- After using the DX racer for while today i think i'll keep it for laying back watching movies.

Which of the AK gaming chairs dont have lumbar support rather a flat back to them. I tried the Arozzi Monza and it was really uncomfortable. Is it the Torretta ?

I thought I would post up here where I got to. As you may remember/see from my posts in this thread, I have been looking at buying an eSports gaming chair for the last few months. Because they are not cheap, I have been trying to work our which one to buy out of the AK Racing, GT Omega, DX Racer and Maxnomic seats.

The choice is mad much harder by the fact you can't just walk into a shop and compare them, it involves a lot web based research looking at reviews and dimensions etc.

I was lucky enough to see one of the AK Racing chairs and the DX Racer F series chairs at Insomnia last year. They both felt very similar to me which didn't help.

In the end, a couple of weeks ago, I decided to go with the AK Racing Player Gaming chair. The reason I chose to go with this was
a) the dimensions seemed right for me
b) the Overclockers customer support.

Chairs like Maxnomic and DX Racer are sold and shipped direct, from Europe which worried me a little if I needed support or to return them.

I was a little worried if I had made the right decision given some of the issues others experienced early on with the AK chairs as posted earlier in this thread. It did seem though that the majority of issues have been resolved over time as fewer and fewer complaints have been surfacing here....so I was hopeful.

Well, in typical Overclockers efficiency, my AK Player Gaming chair arrived the next day :)

I was impressed with the quality of the chair and didn't see any of the problems shown here with the very early chairs. The quality of the faux leather looked good, the stitching was perfect and generally, the construction seemed sturdy and tidy.

Assembly was also straight forward with no real problems.

I have now been using the chair for approx. 10 days and more than happy with it. I typically sit in it for about 8 hours a day as I work from home mainly and it is really comfortable, particularly with the multiple adjustments that allow you to tailor it to your exact preferences.

Overall, I have been pleasantly surprised and most importantly, my initial concerns with build quality etc were not a problem. The chair is way better than I expected and definitely on a par, if not better dimension wise, than the DX Racfer F series I saw at Insomnia. It is also good knowing that Overclockers are only a phone call/email away if there should e any problems during the warranty period.

If any of you are still undecided, as I was, then I can recommend going for these chairs.

I have posted a full breakdown of the unboxing and assembly of this chair over on my small website (AK Racing Player Gaming Chair-Unboxing and Assembly) along with a video where you can see in detail the build quality.

I am hoping to post a fuller review on there soon, along the lines of the above summary.

Here is a photo of my chair fully assembled:

It seems most people here have gone for the AK Racing chairs, but if there's anyone who's bought a Monza (or Enzo) chair would you be able to give your opinion please?

Currently using a POS Argos (I think) office chair which I've had for the best part of 10/12 years and I'm fed up with it. I know the Monza is the cheapest chair in the entire range but tbh anything would be an upgrade from what i'm using now :o

I prefer the look of the Monza but the Enzo has more colour options.

Cheers!

I'm using a Torretta at the moment, i'm pretty impressed with it. It's comfortable for sitting in for long periods of time, it looks the business and provides a good sitting posture. I'm sure the Monza and Enzo provide a similar experience too :)

Hi guys,

With regards to the new chairs coming in (mainly the Arozzi Monzas) will you be doing a check to make sure they're OK to sell as you did with the first batch of chairs you got?

I'm thinking of a dropping the dollah on a yellow Monza when they arrive in stock.

Cheers!
Tom

I believe all the issues on the first batch of chairs have been solved, but we still do spot checks on these where we can. If you give me a shout when you place the order I can make sure it's checked for you prior to shipment though.

Following on from my earlier post, I have now posted a fuller review of the AK Racing Player Gaming chair including a comparison chart: http://www.buzzpods.com/akracing-esports-gaming-chair-review/

Also, put together this video review for those who prefer to watch rather than read ;)

Happy to answer any questions anyone may have.

I wonder if you will still like the chair in 12 months time if you do then i will buy one if the chair is still as good after 12 months of use.
