What's the most you've spent on a game?

Evercrack here as well. Only 3 accounts and 5 years though. These days I only buy in steam sales and only very rarely something over 15 quid.

There's quite a few of us on here it seems :)

I can still picture in my head places like Highpass Hold, Blackburrow, Karnors, Crystal Caverns...

It was more than a game. And it is (was) the only game where I think that statement holds true. But we're talking old-school EQ, not the current iteration.

Modern MMOs are theme parks.

nah Star Wars Galaxies was like that, until they messed it up. I'm sure if they announced they were releasing it as it was it would have a massive revival!

ultima online 13 accs 7ish years + game+expansions+uoassist+some ebay stuff = a lot (and some horrendous 56k modem bills )

iRacing, by a million miles. I just added it up, I have spent $1374, so just over £900 . This also doesn't count the amount I've spent on hardware (triple monitors, wheels, pedals, cockpits etc). Jesus, sim racing is bloody expensive.

MechWarrior Online, i think i spent about £60 on mechs and other stuff over the last year since i started playing. I won't be spending anymore

I started in qeynos hills, did blackburrow, it was fun though quickly learnt 90% of the players were dicks, never found anything else in the game remotely interesting or comparable to the experience in bb so quit playing after about 10 days. I honestly don't get what drew people to the rest of the game.

Mate dont get me started, loved that game so much! I eventually migrated to Venril Sathir when it opened (euro server) for planes of power.

Tekken 2 Japanese import on the Playstation 1 set me back £95.

Also, I paid £50 for Flight Simulator on the Atari ST back in 86. That was considered a lot of money for a game back then.

Finding the 10% of people that weren't dicks is what kept me playing for so many years.
