A few hours after vaping, iv definitely deciced that I like the warmth (that I get from my coil build) from the mx v1 rda for definite, im guessing because of how short it is after I had modified it,. so for my coil build like this like I mentioned 2 posts above, the mx1 definitely wins, So does the amount of juice this thing holds, I have to drip twice as less as the v2. but also like I say when I want to blow huge super huge clouds, I cant do that because the air flow is a lot more restricted. Don't get me wrong the v1 clouds are big but not as big as the v2.

So gotta wait for slowtech to send me another one of each to modify to see what I can come up with for the juice well depth of the v1, air flow of the v2, but the 4 post deck of the v2, and the v1 height modified by me.

Though I can't stress enough how much not to get a v1 from fast tech as it is a bad clone and won't work outta the box, you gotta modify it a hell of a lot to make it work, maybe that was just a dodgey one I got where the air holes was higher than the connection posts.. Who knows. But the v2 works outta the box straight away but I perfer the v1 now iv modified it but untill iv got a spare v2 I don't mind cutting and drilling into I'll be using the v1 as my main now :)

:)

You'd probably like the Derringer then! Wish I could get an authentic but they seem to have been produced in really small batches...

What you need IceShock is not lower ohms but a higher power mod, a sigelei 100w would allow you to get a hotter vap from your v2 without changing the coils as you would be able to increase the wattage, would be safer too than going lower ohms. Even a good 50w mod would allow more power to heat up your coils, plus the ramp up time would reduce too. Otherwise close off the airflow a little more On the v2, will, restrict the draw a bit but will increase the heat at the same time.

At fast tech prices it's easiler to buy a different but of kit than trying to work out how to get the best of something :)

I'm looking for a 18350 mech hybrid, any recommendations? :)

I have derringer on order :) I'm thinking of the Calvert 18350 but I'm not sure how well the button is cloned.

iv got a 100w sigelei :p the v2 though the exact same build if i take the wattage above 40w it tastes rank because its burning the juice i dont know why, but the v1 i can take the watts up to 50+ easy and its just perfect warm fluffy vapor.

so i either need to change my build in the mx v2, shutting air flow off doesnt help get a warmer vape in it either

Right so after previous advice (thank you) I'm happily going with the eleaf istick but the natilus confuses me a bit is the mini ok? Just as I've found a kit on vapeboy or if I should buy it separately somewhere else.

Kinda overly excited by this :D. Just don't want to regret it and get the wrong thing.

Sounds like there's something off with your build perhaps.

Anyway, why not just get an RDA that actually does what you want in the first place and keep the MX2 for cloud lolz? :p Either that, or try a few different builds in it.

Oops, my bad, sorry... I've run my v2 with a .5 dual on the sigelei and it was too much for me at 100w

Yeah, most I've ever dared to go is 70w on a .3. Not my cuppa either tbh.

The mini just holds a bit less liquid, I have the mini and my mates at work got the normal one. it's personal preference but I'd get the larger one to save refilling so often.

Aye im gonna do some different builds in the mx2, the way its designed its designed to get rid of the heat at say 150w at lower than 0.1ohms and i cant do that :p well i wouldnt want to haha. so ill have to modify the mx2 so that it doesnt cool the vape down i recon. because this mx1 doesnt cool the vape down as good as the mx2 and i like the warm vape from it.

but, ill have to do it another day, way too hungover to be bothered today :D just vaping my mx1 heh.

There you go. It's not brass coloured on this one, probably isn't on the MVP either now I come to think of it! That centre pin is connected to a wire on the other side but is just sitting in a rubber grommet. You can't pull it out very far so be careful but there will be a 1mm or so of movement safely. Just lever it up gently from side to side to lift it.

Also be careful you don't accidentally fire the mod while you do it or you'll burst into flames and die.

I tried that and it did come up quite a bit, also did the same thing on the nautilus and that came out a bit too, still nothing. Reckon it's dead?

The other tank I've got isn't tasting too bad now, the juice has definitely soaked in now but there's still a dodgy after taste if I breathe out through my nose especially.

Arrgh right ok. I'll buy the bits separately then.

I am right in assuming all I need it;

Ileaf,
Nautilus,
Nicotine,
Fluid of some sort.

Then I'm good to go?

Thank you :).

most people with the istick will get the mini, as it sits more flush and looks nicer on the device, but like spooky says the normal size one does hold more juice. To be fair, the 1.6ml that the mini holds was more than enough for me when I first started to last a working day (the longest I have to be away from supplies :D).

Nicotine levels will depend on how much you smoke now. 1.8mg/1.6mg is what most people start on as it's considered the strength as a normal fag.
The tobacco e juice is foul but if you want to try one, RY4 is very popular.

https://www.ukecigstore.com/eleaf-istick-kit.html - that's a dead good price for it, the tank is normally 30 pounds and so is the mod.

Oh the full size subtank is only 25 pounds on ecig.
