Order my mix from 8Bitvape today, got to sort this GVC out as I can't hack the amount of nic in it.

Anyone ordered a custom mix from them before? Not sure how long I will be awaiting for the dispatch.
 
It looks like China are entering the temp control mod market with the ADT 50w and ADT 120w temperature control mods. No idea on price yet though, very little info at present.

1.ADT 50W mod with temperature control
--Value of resistance:0.1--2.5ohm
--Input voltage:3.3V--4.3V/30A
--Output voltage:1V--9V
--Adjustable Wattage:7--50w
--Frequency:1W for each time
--Adjustable temperature:100--300 centigrade degrees
--Support temperature alarm of ordinary thermal fuse
--USB port/cable for charging

3.ADT 120W mod:
--Value of resistance:0.1--4.0ohm
--Input voltage:6.0V--8.4V/30A
--Output voltage:1V--6.0V

Whats the vertex 2 like? would you recommend getting one?

I think im going to treat my self to all these goodys, well actually, the missus said she wants some charms for her Pandora bracelet for valentines day lol.

Get a Helix and a Marquis they really quite different from other RDAs.

You should really stop shopping at FT.. lol
A sub-ohm tank of some sort is rather useful if you haven't got one already and there's the mutation x3 and doge v2 out now.

I would say get a tobh but mine still not come yet! lol

It's going very well :) I haven't used anything else since tbh.
Part of that reason is that both my Marquis RDAs have some really stubborn machine oil in them and I've literally just received a big bottle of isopropyl alchohol to help with that, so I'll update on their prowess later on.

I'm not sure if you'd like the Vertex simply due to the small juice well. You really can't get much in there and have to drip pretty often. Other than that, it's a great one for flavour.

I might need to 'barrow' something from work to get the job done quick then.

Lol cant beat FT price though, I aint bothered about waiting.

Well I am bothered about waiting, but id rather pay 6 quid for a rda than 20 for a clone.


I don't really like the style of the marquis and helix, nor do I like the doge with the stupid dog logo on the side :p

Aye you know me, I like flooding it with juice right to the level of the air holes almost just so that I don't have to drip as often :p
 
I have been using a Cloupor mini for the last week and man its a nice little device, its deceptively heavy for its size, it actually feels heavier than the IPV2 with dual 18650's but I like that. I like the way volts and resistance are down to 2 decimal places, the magnetic back is great and it seems to last for ages even with a well worn VTC4 in there.

Fantastic little device. Here is a size comparison with a IPV2 and Hana mini.

True... FT > Fleabay when it comes to clones and China gear; as that's the likely souce of the Fleabay vendors'.

I'm warming to the idea of a sigelei 150w box mod; It does what I want but it's just as fulgy as sin thou.

No I haven't! :eek: I really appreciate the heads up mate, luckily I have been removing the battery and charging in the Nitecore charger, but that is a worrying flaw!!!
 
Well it turned up and it's gorgeous. Real Apple quality packaging I'm impressed. Only issues is the eleaf security code doesn't work (assume it doesn't work on mobile web) and I can't for the life of me undo the nautilus. They must employ the hulk!

Once I find a solution I'll report back on my feelings as I'm sure you're all dying to hear them :D.

Edit: O and it came with a lolly :eek:.

Edit 2: I can't really taste the liquid but it feels nice. Bit light headed :(. O and I know what a burnt hit feels like (vomit) :(.

I would definitly reccomend this kit for a noob. Its high quality, simple, well documented and hasn't blown up in my face :D.

Just got to work out the w/v bit.

Iv got a 100w sigelei, its sexy as hell, though its not one of the new style ones with the wavey designs on the side, don't think id like the one with the wavey sides. though saying that iv got a rubber like protector case on mine anyway so I wouldn't be able to see them anyway

as far as the device its self and chip is concerned and what its made to do. its flawless.

Hmm it says on the Cloupor website that if you attach an atomizer and fire the mod for 15 seconds at 30 watts and it doesn't say Too Hot then it is a good unit, I tried this with a 0.5ohm coil and it did not say too hot and stopped firing after the 15 second limit so hopefully it will be OK, will not be using USB charging though.

Thanks again V_R for alerting me to this issue.

It is a shame as this would have been my new default recommended device over the iStick. I had a mistrust for Cloupor after the T5 firmware fiasco, perhaps I should have listened to my gut feeling!

Roman & Tweak, have you guys had a problem with your (non DNA40;)) Cloupor mini's?
