Hahaha! Certainly was mate! We finished about 11.50PM. I got booted and reconnected but could only hear Wardyp. Picked up the strategy pretty quickly though.

Is anyone up for a latish Crota hard modetonight? We're on the final encounter. Around 9. I can't be that precise re. no.s as there are two or three other people in already, but if you're on the PS4 and are interested leave your id.

I'll be running the sword but only going for three whacks per kneel as I tend to get over excited when going for more on hard mode and balls it up!

Any room for another 31? Hunter or warlock. Guessing thoseion, Auty and EvilMatt will be 32? If not no problems, don't want to make it too hard for everyone.

Yeah it was good to do some VoG again even if it was just Atheon. With all the Crota raids going on I don't get to run it very often. Cheers for the invite!

VoG is a lot to take in if you've never done it before. When I first ran it it took me a good hour to realise you're not supposed to let them sacrifice to the conflux :D

The most important thing is having a way to regen health during the Crota fight.

For the Abyss, all the 31s are going to die, plain and simple. As long as one of the 32s can make it across though, it's all good. I'll be a Hunter so I can give it a go. If Auty and/or Matt are also Hunters, that doubles/trebles our chances.

For the bridge, it'll be very good going if any 31 gets across and stays alive for the Ogres. Really, I expect we'll have to go with getting one across and cheesing with Warlock self-revives. So, we'll need one, preferably two Warlocks for that part.

Deathsinger shouldn't be a problem.

Crota.. Really we need 4 32s: swordman and 3 rocketeers (with tracking rockets). One 31 can keep the boomers entertained and the other can either help out or stand and dance :D
The most important thing is being able to regen health though as otherwise one or two hits and you're dead, causing an Oversoul which often causes a wipe.

To be honest, I've only ever done it with one 31 in the team. 2 might be just about doable. I'm not so keen on 3! :p

Real shame after 2h 30 mins having to bale out. Just got too late for me

Did you guys get anything decent? I feel sorry for the poor chap that watched the channel :)

With 3 31's your basically going to have to rely on cheese for the pit and bridge parts but to be honest even with more 32's we generally don't get everyone through or across anyway so it's probably doable. In fact although Crota's raid has grown on me my biggest gripe is that most of the encounters are actually easier with less people involved which shouldnt be the case, it should always be easier with 6 people in my opinion.

As long as everyone has 331 weapons and a decent tracking rocket launcher then you should be able to put out enough dps but everything will hurt big time!

Im not sure I'll be around to commit to the raid tonight which is why I didnt put my name down but if you get stuck at any point I do have my 32 titan which could lend a hand if i'm online.

Yeah I'll have a better idea when I run my 31 through it, going in a bit blind! Being a Titan I'm not expecting to get much further than the first lamp in the abyss.

If we don't have any Warlocks for the bridge then I can bring mine but that means I'll definitely be 31 for the entire run (she only has 1 armour piece). If I bring my Titan then I might hit 32 by the Bridge, or just after the Ogres go down.

I watched the first 10 mins while I had my dinner, not sure who watched the rest :p

Joined at the Gatekeeper and got a Sparrow from Atheon. Now I can crash at higher speeds!

Nope, just shards and energies. Oh, got a new warlock bond though.

I was surprised to not see an exotic out of the chest in the Gorgons maze, I got Suros Regime and saw a Plan C drop as well. When we did the run the guy leading said not to open the spirit bloom chest as it reduces the chance of exotics in the gorgon chest.

I'm sure the chap watching the channel loved seeing PreformedTiger leaping into oblivion for half an hour! lol!
 
Does anyone have the VoG exotic chest CP? I've never bothered with it in the past but I keep hearing of people getting exotics from it. Still looking for Universal Remote, Red Death and Hard Light, so may as well maximise my chances!

It's all good if Mazin makes it to 32 during the raid. Having your Warlock for the bridge could be a big help if we need to cheese it (although you'll need Ice Breaker). In fact, if we do end up cheesing the bridge, I'd quite like to switch to my Titan for that bit only to see if he can get chest armour - just need chest or helmet to be able to get to 32. :)

I've got it. Will be online tonight from 8pm onwards so just drop me a msg or join my fireteam and i can take you to it (I have to do it on one of my other chars anyway). My 2nd char got Ice Breaker (woo my 4th without buying any) last night...
