We'll see how we get on for time on the CE hard mode sonny, I doubt we'll make it through first time round easily! Saturday should be do-able though.

It should be around 90K XP needed to get it to that perk. So that's ~15 5K bounties with the Nightfall boost on. It may actually be lower than 90K - I can't remember if they lowered the required XP in a previous patch or not.

Also, do people want to do it from Deathsinger or from the beginning? I'm happy either way. (Done the Bridge on this character but not the Abyss).

we never did a couple of the things mentioned which would help the swordbearer out a lot. I noticed that basically we were all relying on the swordbearer every round and it's a huge responsibility. Crazy in fact that so much depends on one person in a raid.
 
I was sword bearer for an LFG group yesterday and the pressure on that 3rd sword is insane.

I had sweaty palms and was nervous as hell. Its the knowledge that with one mistake you let 5 others down and have to abort the run and go and do the whole thing again.

I'd done it before with my usual group here where theres not too much pressure as we're all friends. But with strangers like that the pressure is horrible.

+1 - Doesn't even take a mistake - something as trivial as a thrall running at you the wrong way and blocking a jump can mean it's all game over too :(

It's not fun tbh - I enjoy all the other parts of the raid more than this last bit (usually cus I'm the swordsman lol!)

Did you say Monday for that last CE HM cp run poly? I can't do tomorrow now unfortunately.

you did great. the reason why i suggested a 5 min break was because i thought it would help take the pressure off and then a fresh start might help. it was just so tough.

i don't think i ever want to be sword bearer on hard mode
 
I've been sword man twice on hard mode now, both in LFG groups. It is very pressuring but you're also at the mercy of the 5 others, if they can't drop Crota's shield fast enough and consistently then it's not on you.

Every group is different, sometimes they'll be 8 odd Gjallahorn rockets flying at him each time which you can quickly get used to but other times it takes a bit longer so it's getting used to pace of the team each time. That's what I find anyway.
 
So there wasn't really anyone online tonight to do the run, so I'll suggest two times for Sunday/Monday and people can just pick which one they can make. Let me know if you're no longer available and I'll remove you from the list. Just need to get Word of Crota and a helmet for my Titan!

Monday, 8:40pm
