Too much on screen, windows can be made to be very simple... perfect
Android can be made to look virtually identical to Windows Phone as well. I even posted a screenshot of my Note 3 a while back with Win8 Launcher applied.
But why? It's a bit naff.
My work phone is a Lumia 925, I deploy Windows phones all the way from 520 and up. They do the job but the number I get back for repair is unbelievable. The screens break too easily and they look tired and worthless after half a year unless they have been in a case the entire time.
Windows Phone updates also,
1: Take ages to download on WiFi.
2: Take ages to install.
The Marketplace is better than it used to be but still not a touch on Apple Store or Play Store.m There is simply no comparison.
The keyboard is just rubbish.
The Windows Phone dialler is not logical and offers little in the way of settings to change. The in call quality on all of the Lumias I have haven't been great, only satisfactory.
As a work tool they do the job, they are cheaper than Android phones and are more disposable tools than anything else. But then again Android has very good enterprise support as well and can be more locked down than Windows Phone, should you administer it as such.
