Well guys who here likes Mrs lords Custard cream and Mixes there own liquids?

Because if you do i think i have made a liquid of my own that tastes very simular to it and if you want to try it here is the recipe of mine.

50-50 mix is what i use and for a 10ml liquid i use the following.

6% Capella custard.
6% Capella Malted milk Biscuit.
4% cookie by Flavour art.

And i have had a few people try it who vape the custard cream and they even say its very close to the real thing.

Thanks for all the great advice everyone, looking at the pricing for the kits if I went for the Istick mini and the nautilus mini separately it would come in at about £41, would there be a massive difference in performance between the istick and the istick mini, I know theres 10w of a difference at maximum but performance wise what would that mean to me and would I even notice given the fact im a complete noob with these, or am I better off just going the extra mile for the istick instead of the mini.

The Cloupor Mini has some major H&S issues, it's been reported that it melts.

Bad batch, apparently. I've had mine for a little while now and haven't had any issues at all.

Of the ones that have been reported online as melting, there appear to be 3 or 4 incidents whose pictures are used across various sources.

I think it's being made out to be a much bigger issue than it really is.

Though now that I've said that, I'll bet mine melts tomorrow. :D

10w wont be enough imo, and the battery is too small. Get the 20w iStick. :)

For example, with the 1.8 Ohm heads, at 4.2v (about where you will want to be) is 9.8w, so your topping out already.

At 1.6 Ohm 4.2v will be around 11w.

Have a play with this and you will soon get the idea. :)

For me, I normally vape around the 11w range, so the istick mini won't be able to cut it, also you have to consider battery life, the mini is only half of the normal one, but it should still last the day. Thou for a new vaper; you might not need to go above 10w.

Sorry if you think I'm making you spend money; but I would get the 30w version if possible. It has a bigger range, allowing you to fire lower coils (in future) and the way it fires the coil is much better than the 20w version.

The 20w version uses pulse width modulation, to emulate the wattage over a period of time by switching it on and off, whilst the 30w fires it flat (once it hits 4.2 volts). Some people moan that the 20w vapes hotter than it should because of this.. But I just adjust mine to taste. :). Also it comes with serveal new features which the 20w don't have, but bang for bucks; you can't get any better vaule, or go wrong with any of the isticks. I think I use mine more than my other mods.

+1 for the sigelei mini, and you also might want to consider 50w.

As 20w might be pleanty for 6 months or so till you get used to it, but then you will start tinkering making different coils, go bigger, want more vapour, make coils that need more power, then you will wish you had a more powerful device.

Like now I vape at 80W @ 0.18 ohms. I love chucking huge clouds out. and I doubt ill ever get bored of doing so. the flavour is so yummy and warm and thick dense warm vape!

And 2 months ago or so, I was limited to 20w, I didn't know what I was missing :D

I would definitely go for either 30w or 50w sigelei, great devices Imo.

Personally I would go 50w as it will save you wanting for more power later on.
having low watts just limits you so much as to what you can build on it, The lowest I vape at is 40w

For a beginner and keeping costs down, I would recommend the istick, but Not the 20w, dodgy 510 connector will no doubt get munged especially by a noobie, the 30w on the other hand is not much more expensive and has a much better 510, in fact a floating 510 plus it can actually do it's full power output across a much wider ohm range too thanks to it having a buck, where as the 20w was very limited with no buck.
I don't think anyone should be recommending the 20w version ever again, it was a naff bit of kit, and I own one, have repaired the 510 on several friends 20w isticks... it runs in mean as well instead of RMS so will give a new user the wrong impression of what power they like if they decide to move to a properly configured device in future.

As for a starter tank, the Aspire Nautilus Mini is a very good place to launch a vaping habbit...

yeh Nautilus mini and eleaf 30W seems to be a nice little combo from the research ive done. Just ordered it myself with a Subtank mini as well, which will be my first venture into sub-ohm vaping and rebuildable atomizers :)

Damn I cained my vape last night, I vaped full 10ml from 9pm to 1am when I had a few beers before bed. phew! no wonder I felt more drunk than I actually was haha

You sure you wasn't drinking the e-liquid by mistake? lol

On another note.. Fasttech really do know how to zap the fun out of impulse shopping, what fun is it when I have to wait weeks/months to actually get the item.

For its time the 20w was ok but we've moved on since then, I would however suggest the 50w over the 30w that you mention, for an extra £5 you get extended battery life and there's more room for progression in the future in regards to rba/rbta etc , less is not always more heh.

The nautilus mini is a superb little bit of kit I use mind when the Lemo might be a bit too conspicuous and love it.

You should check out the beyond vape's mako war RDA, It's right up your street with a two massive air holes and a chuff cap drip tip. I'm thinking of getting one myself. It's cheap at 35 bucks for an authentic.

But I'm not getting anything now until I know what's happening with my fasttech orders, I need to take stock in what I have at that time before ordering any more kit. Thou I may be picking up a microstick this weekend. :)
