That's odd... ordered a istick 50w along with the drip tip for the ego one from totally wicked, not only did I get a free bottle of juice (meh) but they pop £5 pounds in to my store credit.

so I'm getting the mod, drip tip and bottle delivered for £39.15..
Just don't know if I'm going to ever need to order anything from there again.

EDIT: If anyone is after an e-grib they are rather cheap on there.. £41.48, If I waited till 9 today I would have saved myself another 4% off... the discount is now at 30%

There is no difference other than yours links to your coil of 1.4 Ohms and the one in the OP links to the home page where it tells you what each of the tabs are for and the old one is to the coils page....

Nothing is 'out of date'

Thanks for the information. I would really like to go to the next level now i.e inter. I emailed Ash from myepacks and he suggested the istick 30w with a subtank mini or nano. I ethier want this or to go all out and get a mech mod, something like the Ego One/pro vari with a Kanger subtank mini/nano.
I would think id be ok with the 1.2 ohm coils and would like the option of going to 0.5 ohms coils in the future if need be.

After seeing various reviews, i opted for the subtank as people state the flavour is slightly better/enhanced and this is what i want ideally.
I am currently using 2 Kanger protanks 2 with ego style 650 mah batteries. I alternate between the 2, with different flavours in each tank, they last me all day.

I do like the look on the Pro Vari Classic and calculated the costs at £150 with 2 18490 batteries and charger. Im not too keen on the extension as i would like it as short as possible. I think i will go with this option if i like the subtank with a istick 30w. That way i have 2 to alternate between.

So in conclusion, i think im going to purchase a Subtank mini with an istick 30w from myepack. I would like to add some more coils to the order but im unsure if id like the 0.5ohm or 1.2 ohm coils. Should cost me about £60 excluding extra coils. Im unsure if i need to add batteries with this order?

Does anyone have any feedback on this choice? Anything to add?

Get the iStick/Subtank mate, cant go wrong, the Provari classic is old now, my GF uses mine and the bloody batteries (18350's) dont last 5 mins....

You dont need batteries.
You get one of each in the box, try then and see what you prefer, the 1.2's will mean the battery will last a little longer due to the higher resistance and lower watts needed, but the .5's will be warmer and probably kick out a bit more clouds.

I've said for a while the subtank and iStick / Sig 30w is the new starter kit. ;)

Yup. That happened to me 2. So I went back and ordered this yesterday

10m of 26g and 28g Kanthal , 5m of 26 twisted and some KoGenDo and an Ohm meter build deck.

I know TW have a bad rep but after checking around they were actually a lot cheaper than a lot of other places with 30% off and a £5 credit.

Chose the £1.99 delivery option and it arrived in the post this morning less than 24 hours after ordering.

Should keep me going for a while.

Oh and BTW. TW are doing 34% off today.
 
Just got a couple of packs of cotton bacon and that stuff is top notch. Best cotton Ive used bar none. Ive found the jap cotton and cotton pads mute the flavour despite wicking OK but this stuff is brilliant. You just peel a strip off and thread it straight through

The Provari P3 only goes down to 0.7 ohms apparently so you wouldn't be able to use the 0.5 ohm coil heads on the Subtank mini. I haven't actually tried the 1.2ohm coil heads with it, sub-ohming ftw. :p

I'd say you might as well get the iStick 50W rather than the 30W, it's not much more expensive, still a small device and has a decent amount of improvements afaik, double the capacity and the extra power is nice if you want it in the future.

You won't need any batteries with the iStick. If you want something with batteries, my vote still goes to the Sigelei 30W mini - Samsung 25Rs, purple efest 35A and Sony VTC4 are all good 18650 batteries. And regarding the safety, if you're using 0.5ohm coils and only going up to 30W, you won't have anything to worry about with any of those batteries.

lol that you say Japanese cotton mutes flavour when every single review of it I see says the exact opposite. They do say taste is subjective.
Most everywhere I am seeing says the Bacon cotton is simply washed and unrolled organic cotton, that you are paying way over the odds for it and no where near as good as KGD.

lol @this youtube comment. "It is sourced from a medical manufacturer right here in the USA. That being the case, it is inherently more safe than any Japanese cotton, considering the radiation concerns."

Try cotton bacon bud. It blows the genuine KGD pads I have out the water.

Chaddos cotton pads are the only pads not to mute the flavour for me. Taste may be subjective but I know what I like and when the guy who designs the rose tells me he agrees about the flavour being muted in the rose I use to vape on...

I dont need every single review to agree with me as they arnt building and wicking my atties. :)

As for price,its a £5'r delivered for a packet and by my estimation maybe 100 wicks.

Man... I saw that pic and thought it might have actually been bacon flavoured cotton.

Not that that would be pleasant to vape, I'd imagine... but still... it's... attractive.

Good marketing tactic there, methinks.

I also do not need to listen to the reports of one man, when the general concensus disagrees emphatically.


A couple of other opinions which hold the majority opinion on this stuff.

"Emperors new clothes/Chivas Regal model"

"I can definitely notice a difference in Rayon and Koh gen do vs Organic cotton, but not a difference in rayon and koh gen do. Cotton bacon is the same.

Side note: Chivas Regal is delicious. "

"I got a pack of this as a combo for something I bought (don't remember what). I finally gave it a go and It really is nice cotton. Much easier to work with than cotton balls plus I did not have to boil it. Quality is as good but not higher than Japanese cotton I use but I like working with it better."

Im not saying its of any higher quality than any other cotton bud,just that I like it and I found it to be better. I was given it by someone who didnt like it and prefered GKD pads a few days ago. My point was just because everyone says it crap/amazing dosnt mean you will find it to be :)

The biggest culprit of this is Grants custard. Raved about by everyone but not even in the top 5 custards I have tried
 
Anyone tried Native Wicks? it's meant to be the dogs' b...
