That allows you to change phone, but you're still committed to a monthly contract.
You'd always need a tariff though right?
I generally agree, but not everyone can afford around £500 up front.
But monthly, so I could easily change it or switch networks, maybe if one network went downhill, or I moved house and got poor reception from my current network. Or maybe I lost my job and wanted to go 'pay as you go' for a while. Just examples.
We need a breath of fresh air when it comes to phone designs.
Still using the M7, the M9 was going to be sure thing for me but tempted to go SIM only for a bit now and wait for something I feel is worth the money.
Looks like a potential purchase to me! Why change something that works? If they've given it a decent camera then job done!![]()
Honestly, because since having a kid I have way less disposable income these days. I don't own a decent camera and would rather spend that amount of money on getting a really nice compact camera like the sony camera rx100 iii and then take way better photos.
I think the m7 looks better (symetrical, no huge black bar) and is better proportioned for me. Would feel like spending a lot of money to upgrade with trade offs. When I went from S3 to HTC One M7 it was an upgrade in every way to me (and there was only a year between, this is two years).
There are times you will be without your compact camera. Children present the perfect photo opportunity when you have only a phone on you typically! I've certainly found this with my 3 year old boy - he does the best things when the slr is at home!
haha true I'm hoping to get around this by going compact. The Mrs will nearly always be there (and she loves taking constant pictures of him anyway) so I'm planning on leaving it in her bagIt's only little and I'll agree to stop putting my wallet in her bag
