Small point: If the final version contains the word "Earth", please be sure to use a capital E, otherwise they will suffer a lifetime of pedants pointing it out...
So sky, much ground, very sadness, many joy... wow.
... Here I am, stuck in the middle with you.Sky above me,
Earth below me,
im trying to translate a Korean phrase for a friend who wants to use it as a tattoo (I know).
Basically it goes - land exists, the sky exists. Sadness exists, happiness exists. And is basically saying you can't have one without the other.
I'm not good at making pretty language so can anyone here suggest a way of prettying it up?
The best I got was 'As the sky needs the earth to exist, happiness needs sadness'
Pretty rubbish.
No Earth without Sky. No Happiness without Sadness.
alternatively...
"If You're Happy And You Know it, Clap Your Hands."
Take my love, take my land, take me where I cannot stand. I don't care; I'm still free. You can't take the sky from me.
You're a leaf on the wind*Take my love, take my land, take me where I cannot stand. I don't care; I'm still free. You can't take the sky from me.
