People who have a way with words

I'm not good at making pretty language so can anyone here suggest a way of prettying it up?

I walk in your footsteps, shelter you from the sun, bask in your happiness knowing you are the only one.

The problem is that korean will have different ways of saying something compared to english. For example a Slovak saying talks about throwing peas at a wall.. there's no equivalent in English. French have other ways that don't make sense either.. and they're just across the channel..

What do you think of these?
"As sure as the sky above and the ground below, happiness and sadness are intertwined."

or

"As sure as there is a sky above one's head and solid ground below one's feet, happiness and sorrow share a bond that will never be dead."

or

"As sure as the sky above your head and the earth beneath your feet, happiness and sadness share a bond that you'll never defeat."
