Why don't Ford sell the F150 in RHD in the UK/SA/Aus/NZ? That style of vehicle is becoming more popular, with the Toyota HiLux, VW Amorok and similar models from other manufacturers becoming more common on the road. There must be a market for it.

they are too thirsty for us

toyota hilux uses 2.5 and 3 litre diesel engines.

F150 doesnt have a diesel engine, petrol 2.7 to 5 litre.

my mother's boyfriend has a 2004 F150 harley davidson edition it has 5.4 v8 supercharged engine,. he said average mpg is 11mpg.

To be fair though they're going to offer the mustang here with the V8 engine so there must be some demand for big thirsty stuff.

They have the Ranger for those markets, which competes directly with the alternatives you've mentioned.

Isn't 150 much bigger than the hilux? Making it awkward in the auk. Although I would live one.
Such vehicles are so useful, it's a bit odd how they aren't more popular.
Can we get some utes over as well.

We haven't got the space on the roads - the UK road infrastructure, doesn't lend itself to such cars. Besides fuel is too expensive over here!

My issue with the one in the show and that one, is that the front is far too low, there is very little clearance under that bumper, around the same as under a normal saloon car.

The one i had linked had quite literally been lowered 2ft. They do sit a long way off the ground, its probably just the perspective as the TV does not put across what mammoths these things are.

next episode in under 1 hour :o
James May straps into a highly tuned hatchback as he competes in a world rallycross race, with Top Gear USA host and professional driver Tanner Foust teaming up with him. Jeremy Clarkson puts the latest Jaguar F-type R and Eagle's modernised E-type the Low Drag GT though their paces, while Richard Hammond is in Spain to test the new version of the Mazda MX-5. Plus, X-Men: First Class star Nicholas Hoult takes to the track in the Reasonably Priced Car
