Horner is such a *******...
Anyway, i skipped 80% of the race and still nearly fell back to sleep. Think i am getting less interested in F1. Dunno....
Horner suggested that the FIA could use the data on engine performance that it collects as the basis for equalisation.
"The FIA have a torque sensor on every engine," he said.
"They can see what every power unit is producing and they have the facts.
"They could quite easily come up with some form of equalisation."
+1I am amazed that Chris Horner is whining.
.
Sorry, not amazed. The other one...what is it.....totally unsurprised and frankly quite bored. That's it. Don't know how I could have confused those.
I think it would be silly to rule out a Vettel win at some point this year, even if it is due to the Mercs tripping over each other or some form or reliability issues creeping up.I really hope Vettel can sneak a win or two this year, Germans winning in Ferraris is always good for winding up F1 fandumb![]()
On a similar note, what on earth was Jolyon Palmer doing commentating on the practice sessions? He's got no F1 experience at all and presume he's never even driven the circuit as it's an F1-only track I believe? Give us someone who's actually driven an F1 race or has circuit knowledge to offer the "expert" opinion.
I think people need to remember that this was the first race of the season - teams are still getting a handle on their cars, got some rookies in the field, and it's Melbourne - scenic track, but hardly the home of close racing and excitement.
If the show is crap after five races, then we can call the rulebook a failure!
No no, I'm an armchair expert, I can't have an opinion, I can't have a genuinely good suggestion at all because they are smarter than everyone else and only people involved can comment.... blarggh.
Please tell us oh armchair expert what configuration the engine is running in to develop the reduced power?
Horner whining already...

OK so the gap to Mercedes is big, but I think he should focus his efforts on the fact the Renault seemed to have dropped the ball even further. At least Ferrari have improved their power unit, so it's not like there weren't gains to be made.
How will K-Mag's blown engine effect they number alonso is allowed for the rest of the season? are they allocated by car or driver?
Gutted that Button finished just outside the points but at least it finished. Absolutely awful car. Oh well, maybe they'll have a good battle with Manor this season.
I'd love to know how much they have in hand. If I ran the team I'd want to hide that as much as possible to stop the FIA coming up with some knee jerk pap to try to take that away. Only reliabilty and accidents will stop them clean sweeping this year I'm sure.
I'd be a lot more opptimistic that wasn't the case with open engine developement![]()
McLaren have told us the engine is running on reduced power.
