It doesn't bother me at all, just expressing MY OPINION. You ARE a minion if you buy it. It's overpriced to hell like i said before, with other offerings that take it for a ride price/performance. I have no issue with people wasting their own money, it is their money after all. Why not just get 980 SLI? or get the 295X2?

@ Thebennyboy - Not enough VRAM on the 295X2 or the 980....
 
Weirdly I can't understand anyone getting 1x card because there's much better options for the same price

But people getting 2/3/4 makes more sense as they clearly have the money to do so anyway.

I can not squeeze 6 GTX 980s on to my poor old RVE mobo.:D

And 6 way CF is awful.:p

The reason I only bought 1 is that I was tired of SLI issues in game with dual cards. Were as the titan x offers better performance and doesn't have the issues of SLi and retains the option of SLi later on.

It is a fair thing to say but for me, I want, and have been itching for something new and shiny, so a pair of these made sense. I can understand the price isn't for everyone and even I feel it is slightly mad but I had pretty much set my stool out for a max of 1K each and they have done that.

I just need to restock the bank balance now for a 5960X build... :D

Some people don't worry about value for money. Its NOT good value for money, but "wasting money" isn't right either.

Why not xfire / SLi? Well drivers, and VRAM are the obvious answers. 4GB can cause issues.

Titan X is not for me but good luck to the early adopters.

I'm waiting for the 980Ti :cool:
 
Hm, part of me thinks this would have been nicer than my 980SLI, mostly because of VRAM, and because I could use DSR+GSYNC if I wasn't running SLI.

But, it's def overpriced. Hopefully the 390x will cause nV to release a 990 or 980Ti.
 
If money was no object and I had room for the RAD I would definitely get one of these beautys.
