Airbus A320 Crashes in Alps

Swedish press are saying that it could have been "intended" suicide by the co-pilot?

That is... harsh.. and the 5th or 6th time that it has been done in recent history.

Horrible for everyone onboard and their families. :(

Why would the passengers be screaming? It was a controlled decent, they may not even have been aware....

Controlled descent until you look out the window and see land heading towards you at 400 mph.. I think you can tell the difference between descent and just about to hit a mountain. That's when the poop would set in.

Aside from seeing a pilot trying to break the door down shouting? Of course they knew something was up. That and the unexpected descent into mountains where they even flew below peaks and eventually up the side of one until it hit.

Given it is mostly silence, with the captain knocking and the passengers screaming at the end, there's no reason anyone else needs to hear it.

Do we know anything about the background and possible state of mind of the co-pilot as yet?

He lived near a Mosque and sources claim he was corrupted by clerics local to his house and was a recent convert to Islam.

In serious news, no we don't, we know nothing.

This is why I don't get the audio and only screaming in the last few seconds?!?
