There is definately an art to making it. I tried, must have made close to 1500ml of juices.

Some were terrible, some where alright.

I just couldn't nail it though and gave up. I mainly found that the juices I made tasted alright once made, but after a while (~week) the taste became muted.

Don't let your first few attempts put you off though!

Looks quite good but I don't like the fact that you cant change the top cap or drip tip.

The slot for the air flow looks good, but I don't like the look of the rda in general if im honest, but the deck and airflow etc looks great :)

I might pick up a clone one day when im bored, but already got a ton of stuff on the way from slow tech :p
 
Just tried my cherry cola mix again now its had a day steeping, 90vg 10% flavouring so 10pg, and 3mg nic.

Yum yum yum yum yum yum YUM! this thing is delicious.

Going to mix up 100ml of this stuff, its beautiful, and if I still like it after vaping 100ml of it ill get more.


The way I mix liquids, is I buy 10ml flavourings, capella ones or apprentice ones, and mix up 10ml of eliquid using 1ml from the flavourings to 9ml of VG.

If its good ill use the rest of the bottle to mix up 100ml or there abouts. and if its still vapable and I like it,

Then ill buy more of it, refine it to make it perfect and let it brew for a while :)

Got some nice vanilla custards brewing now, and some cotton candy raspberry and cherry mix. 500ml of each :) 85vg 15pg 3mg

I picked up a Beyond Vape Silo yesterday and have been vaping it last night and today. Very, very good flavour. Probably the best flavour I've yet tasted with a tank. Even the Subtank Mini is lite compared to this. It's a tighter draw so not really suitable for direct lung hits. It's fine for mouth to lung though.
I'm using it with the Aspire BVC coils at 1.8 Ohm and 15W with 6mg liquid.

The only issue I have with it is that I keep getting juice in my mouth. I've tried cleaning it out a few times and it's fine for a couple of draws and then it goes back to giving me juice out of the drip tip. Any ideas how to stop this?

My mate had the same problem, whilst it was on the widest air flow setting?

I'm using the bigger bore of the two for drip tip... daft question but are you sure it's juice not a over dose of flavour? Todd (youtube) kept thinking he was stucking up juice but it was just the pure flavour of the tanks :)

Oh, I'm also using the small hole BVC coils.

Definitely juice because the nic burns my tongue.
 
There we go then. Cleaned it out again and closed the airhole down to the 1.8mm one and bingo! No more juice in my mouth.

I really like this tank. The Subtanks are fun for their massive clouds but the flavour from the Silo is just incredible. Juices I thought were a bit light on flavour are now overpowering. Love it and I think I'm going to buy another one.

Sweet; yes it's not ideal not being able to use the widest air hole (seeing as it is there) but he found the 2nd largest one to be fine.

I ordered a subtank mini yday. With the different colour o rings :D

Now to wait till ubertoot release their 2nd batch.
 
Well received my BVC coils today for my aspire nautilus and pleased to say there is an improvement. No burnt taste and generally a better experience. I wouldn't say there is a massive improvement from my cheap ego battery but early days.

The big positive I would say that the battery in the eleaf iStick 50w is an absolute monster, been using it very regularly for 2 days now and it is still on 80% battery.

Slinxy doesn't lie ;) whats your pg/vg ratio? mines always quite high but I've not had any juice in the mouth.

Now how the hell do I get this kayfun mini to work correctly :( dry hit after dry hit... I think I going to rebuild the coil to 1.4 ohm rather than 1 ohm.. lol

Oh I got some vape mail.. 4 bottles from liquid; living it large! lol
I'm saving my pennies for another mod. :)

Try less cotton, I have found that less is more in KF's! :)

yub.. I've rebuild it to 1.5 and used a tiny bit of cotton for the down wick and pressed it against the walls of the deck... seems to be keeping up on my microstick now. :)

As others have said, really good flavour from the Silo and the battery is really well made. Tried turning it up to 25w just to see what would happen....mistake!

I had some high DG juice in there to start with which was okay, but it really comes into its own with 100% PG. Yummy!

I also had the problem with getting juice in my mouth but it seems to be less of a problem with the PG mix, a few less watts and a smaller air hole.

PS amazing service from Truevape and Provapes. Only ordered on Monday night and everything came yesterday and this morning.

I think 20w is max for the coils; depending on juice.. and of course if you have the new (big hole) ones or the older smaller holes one. Do you guys have a metal mesh in the coil? I think vaping all that green crack as killed my taste buds and tongue senses.. lol

If the silo lite had adjustable airflow like the big one, I would certainly get it but sadly it doesn't, so the mini nautilus will have to do for now.

I really want a dna 30 for knocking about but with the cost of it compared to the newer isticks and others is hard to justify. even clone ones are going about the 70 pounds mark. :rolleyes:
 
Just notice, lil old me is using the small bore drip tip, or at least that's the one in the photo... I'm using the wide bore one.. Explains whe he might me getting juice in the mouth and I'm not (on the widest setting)?
 
You know.

Im fed up to hell of getting vapers tongue. after a hr or so after waking up I have it, and nothing tastes right now.

Might go back to buying liquid rather than making my own, never used to have it vaping ry4 for 2 years, because it was like my substitute I found for the same old same tasting cigarette before vaping.

I admit these flavours are lovely but I cant taste them after a hour so its like meh,

But now I cant stand my good old ry4 either so im stuck as what to do with my juice now :p
