Erm hmmm

getting a serious smack down from vicar ammilla or whatever this demonic son of name is .... Hour of trying still not took her down. And those death bringers are also a sodding nightmare... Wonder of the sacks they carry contains victim nuts, as they sure as heck ripped mine out, ooh they are hard as nails in a straight up right. Had to go in from behind..

What's the emblem key for 10k in the hunters dream?

And also what do I do when u meet that other hunter ? Spoken to him/her and got that hunters item where you can be reborn without losing echos then just left , am I suppose to kill ?

Think i am at the last boss now with an optional one or two bosses left. Really really enjoying this and it's absolutely nails in some of the places.

I found him easier then the vicar which after over an hour and some levelling with stamina I just took down.

This game is stupidly hard in places. Until you work oit how to take huge chunks out of bosses health then you think.. Doh why didn't I do that before. After you shoit oit get down you mother *** after you best a boss... Better then sex beating a boss, well nearly lol

I think I know the chap I spoke him and nothing happened much so I moved on. I thought the hunters mark allows you to teleport between lamps without losing echoes?

I've only faced the vicar once and that was as a cooperator, she seemed hard until the other two players stunlocked her with the 2 handed axe, i literally got up and made a cup of tea half way through the fight and came back and i was in my own world about 20k souls richer, it isn't the first boss I've seen stunlocked with the axe either, that thing is OP :D

i hear you though, what i shouted when phaal died cannot be repeated on here but it was satisfying!

Went exploring and ended up with Father Gascoigne. He beat me, but I did better against him than the first boss (who I am yet to beat).

It took a while to get to him, is there a shortcut I am missing, or will a closer lantern open up after I beat the previous boss?

rp2000

Exactly this happened to me too :) I didn't get the first tonight, but I reckon I will next time I play.

People should stick with this game I almost gave up but then suddenly I started to get it and killed half the enemies on the first level with ease.

Just makes you learn the enemies and your strengths against them I love it.

Same, and now I'm moving along nicely. I get further. I level up some stats etc as I go and now I seem to have worked out how to fight, its the steep learning curve, but once you learn how to play it. Excellent game...

Glad you didn't give up as it means I wasn't the only one to sturggl lol actually a few are, I wonder how noxia got on, and I think beachboyken was struggling..

Yeah still am:D:o

Not had a chance to play since weekend and won't be able to again till next. Still got to beat the cleric beast, but I'm not giving up!

Awesome. When you do. You'll certainly jump for joy, but then I think I've learnt words I never knew existed and could be spoken from my mouth since playing this.... Some of this game really does make you curse lol

Wish I'd read this on friday

Its got some rather good tips. I can relate to the article. One you get past the first boss and level, this game opens up and oh so many secrets come out.

What a shame they hide a fantastic mythical lure rich game behind a truly frustrating and frankly almost impossible first few sections with little to no help.

Game should have a warning about this , yep no review I read made it out to be so damn hard at the start, oh how I underestimated its starting point..

Good tips there, cheers.

I have upgraded my axe and it now has a +1 next to it, I wonder if it's possible to farm more blood shards from the same level?

When I first started playing I managed to kill that hooded beast, which a lot of guides say to avoid early on, managed it after about seven attempts.

Well done for sticking with it, in time you will appreciate this about the souls games, theres always something to discover.

During my first couple of hours on Dark Souls I was much like you but now I consider myself quite good, more so at PvP as thats the part that keeps me playing them.

Of course, you realise now that when you finish this game, every other game you play will feel dumbed down and couch potatoe fodder, it will almost ruin them in that you will compare everything to it!

Keep at it, as a new player the first 10 hours are the tutorial.
