Who owns a 350z/370z?

I didn't know that about the light washers with headlights on. I just assumed the seperate button for them took care of that. That's going to annoy me

Yea. Thing is, if the washer bottles are below a certain level, it wont use the washer jets, and only the windscreen.

The washer jets are MASSIVELY powerful and literally cover the whole front end of the car. I guess you "could" disable it by playing with the elctrics or disabling them all together.... I think it works that way by law due to the Xeon headlights....

Don't suppose there are any Z owners near Bangor, Nr Belfast?

My mate came across this for sale and is interested in it (i think more to wind me up that he owns one and I don't yet):

Not really a lot of info on the site. He messaged them a couple of days ago and heard nothing back. Thought I'd be cheeky and ask here if anyone is close and wouldn't mind giving it the once over before we travel the 200 miles to view it?

When you press that button and it forces a headlight spray there and then. I assumed it would be a toggle on/off button!

It looks completely Barry'd to me, I wouldn't touch it. Price is quite low considering its obviously had a lot of money and 200 pots of filler spent on it...

Yea... I thought that... pressing it numerous times and the stalks proved otherwise!

Yup

A lot of people circumvent that issue by putting aftermarket bumpers which have no area for the headlight spray.

Looks like it could be a JDM spec but it doesn't give much away. You'd need to the usual checks when buying a car.

Christ, that Z's ruined! Those wheels belong on a Saxo, not a Z! And the fact that the seller didn't even bother getting back to you should probably tell you something. Would you like to borrow a barge pole? I certainly won't be using it.

And on that note, I thought these cars commanded much more than they do. I could get an excellent condition one for £10k easily.

10K is nearly 370Z money.

I spent 7.5K and got an 06 on low miles, excellent condition, new tyres, full Nissan Servie History, etc.

10k could knock on 370z doors... but I personally like the 350 - if you get the HR it won't be huge amount slower than a 370, and with the spare change get a couple of tweaks

The cheapest non-written off 370Z on AT currently is £14k, 40% of your budget again! Cheapest actual trade sale is £15.5k!

£10k won't get you anywhere near a 350Z, well worth sticking with a very tidy 350Z

I took the view that I would rather have a low mileage, good spec 350z than stretch to a ropey cheap example of a 370z. Id recommend to do the same if you are in a similiar situation

Dummy question from me. I understand that my 350 GT should have power folding mirrors...but how do I do it!

I've adjusted the mirrors in terms of the glass, but how do I get the whole mirror to fold in? I must admit I haven't played with them extensively but it wasn't immediately obvious to a dummy like me.

There is another switch on the door which folds them, it has 3 positions rather than 2 which I've never fully understood but just switch that when the car is running and it'll fold/unfold.

Ok, so its definately on the drivers door with the other buttons. I'll have a closer look next time I'm in there. Thanks.
