Hmmm.. I only fought him once but I think I used the flamethrower and also the thrust attack a lot. You have a very big open area to fight him so it's easy, as long as you are good at moving around.

BOTH!. The trick in most fights is knowing when to lock on and lock off. For instance, you want to be locked on when throwing a projectile, but you don't want to be locked when you want to run in the opposite direction and your health is 10% :D:D Also if you use thrust attacks or visceral attacks you want to be locked on as well.

A fair few optional bosses lately but they are still good fights, im not sure which is the main path atm and dont want anything spoiled so i shall keep going where i am now! Seems right atm
 
I'm using Ludwig's blade +6 and it's a beast of a weapon. Paarl still owning me though...though I levelled up quite a bit this morning...might have another bash at him later.
 
I had half an hour or so to spare, so figured i'd do a bit of grinding in the first level, ran over a bridge and came across Cleric Beast, had no idea it was even there .... major WTF moment. Ended it for it as well :cool:
 
I found Gascoigne before Cleric as well. Completely missed Amelia and ended up in the third area before the second. Gone back to the second area now.
 
I done it, I beat the cleric beast finally after about 15 attempts:D!

What a feeling you get afterwards, I had it down to about 10% health when it grabbed me and started slamming me on the ground it done it about 4 times and my health was literally down to zero when it let go and I managed to replenish, I was thinking I was a gonna again but I'm well chuffed to get past him!!


I think before I was using r2 to much, this time I used r1 more and got in around him attacking him from behind and I also used a few molotovs on him.

Well done! Yeah on the faster bosses r2 just takes too long I use r1 a lot but when the time is right a fully charged r2 can mess anything up. Did Amelia and Witches this morning. Really easy bosses after the first two, I thought. Beat them both first time.

Cheers, I'm just really pleased to finally open up some more of the game to explore and I now feel like although it's only the first boss, I've not given up like a lot of people probably have and I was close to breaking point I have to admit.
 
Has anyone lost blood echoes and not been able to find them again.

It was no big deal as it was only about 1800 but I lost them in the house with the wheelchair guy, looked on the ground and killed all enemy's in the area and no one has them, maybe it's a bug?
 
BSB is down, I didn't even attempt it solo, just summoned and swang aimlessly whilst the over guy owned him.
 
What the **** is up within these sack carrying ****s :(

I died in Old Town, woke up in some jail and now everywhere I turn i'm getting owned.
