Well, that's Cleric, Gascoigne, BSB, Amelia and Witch down. Man, the poison in the caves in the Forbidden Forest is BRUTAL. Managed to open a shortcut from there that brings everything full circle to Yarnham. Really cool level design.

Wandered around and had a go a Iosefka, but she nailed me with her final sliver of life left, and I'd run out of vials. :(

Have to go farm Yarnham for more, now.

Finally got to Gascoigne ! Opened the shortcut too so can get to him pretty quick ... what's the best way to defeat him I've tried dodging n that but kept getting stuck on tombstones And when he's in beast mode he takes me down in 2 hits :(

Molotov's are pretty effective against him.

What the **** is up within these sack carrying ****s :(

I died in Old Town, woke up in some jail and now everywhere I turn i'm getting owned.

They are no worse than most mobs once you get their attacks down, anytime I come across new larger mobs I just spend a bit of time dodging and not attacking at all.

Before you know it your comfortable with their attacks and breezing through them.

I tried that tbh haha but when he got down to half health he transformed and leaped right over everything and leathered me :(

As others have said, parry/visceral attack really is a winner. Took me forever but once I did this I ended up nailing it, I don't think I used a single vial and only needed to hit him once after he transformed!

You mean parrying with the pistol ? I've tried this but then when I hold R1 to do visceral attack it just does a normal R1 attack :(

You probably need to be closer, it only triggers if you are within a foot or so (depending on the enemy type). I found holding rather than tapping R1 helps sometimes but that might just be me!

Ah will have to give that a try then :) ... must be stood too far away ! think I'm gonna go off to other places for a bit and try level up my health n vitality a bit 1st then will have another go at him :) ...

Stuck on Amelia, cocked up my first attempt and blew all the tonic, now whenever I get it down to 30%'ish it just heals and I can't seem to put enough damage down to stop it.

Think I need to level my damage up a bit.

I sacked it off after a few tries and went on to do the Witches instead, ridiculously easy boss compared to anything else so far, strange one.

Check your inventory. You've probably picked up a consumable (I can't remember what it's called, but it's a blue colour) that prevents healing. When she tries to heal, chuck one of those at her.

Also, if you can manage to get to the side of her after a swipe, hit her knee with a heavy attack and transform combo. She'll drop down and allow you to move to the front of the head for a visceral attack.

And yeah... the Witch is lol-worthy. Easiest boss by far.

Yeah, that's the stuff I wasted on the first attempt ... school boy error. :(

Cheers for the advice, i'll give it another shot.

Took Rom down tonight, there was a surprisingly small amount of enemies between him and the previous boss, and although I took a couple of attempts to kill him, the deaths were more from impatience than difficulty.

After Gascoigne I'm now on with the bloody machine gunner... is this the right order?

Tip - hide from him at this point and work through the level rather than climbing the ladders to take him on as he will most likely destroy you! There's another hunter near him who isn't quite as tough but you can leave him alone for now as well too.
