Just watching what's going on in Syria in general. IS seem to be making progress against the government. I feel so sorry for the civilians caught in the middle. They have no hope. The smaller groups of rebels who were fighting for them just can't stand against the sheer numbers of that tiny minority...

I've met a lot of Syrians on my Swedish language course and everyone one of them has been a thoroughly decent person. I have no idea how they have got through what they have to get to Sweden. Just leaving everything behind getting in the car and driving . I'm scared to talk to them about all this, maybe not scared just embarrassed?

I know some of them still have family there. I couldn't live like that. Good luck to them.

Police have arrested someone for assassinating that Syrian-born hate preacher in London. Apparently the hate preacher had links to Islamic State. Be very interesting to hear more details about this case in due course.
