screen protectors protect against scratches - not impact. better off with some sort of case if you're worried about dropping it :)

In your position I'd be getting a skin to stop it being so slippery and then a tempered glass screen protector, they feel miles better than your normal plastic rubbish

e: Unless you think you're going to drop it a lot! Then a Spigen would be my first choice :)

Exactly...that's how I look at it!

Although yesterday I tried it on a wee venture out the house without the case on and it was great! Compared to the M8 it feels great in the hand and just doesn't seem to slip at all.

Although I must say the Spigen Capsule case is great.
 
Had my M9 a week now, like the feel of the phone, though it does get hot when you start using it. Camera is okay for my needs as I only take snaps while out and about.

Battery seems okay, generally it tells me I have 2 days worth of charge, but usually by the end of the day I have 30% left and I do not think I am a heavy user.

The case is great, though I am not a fan of the position of the power button as I keep catching it when I pick the phone up.
 
Just curious...has anyone attempted to go naked full time with phone? I am curious as to how people are finding it since it is infinitely better grip wise than the M8.

It was in a case but no screen protector, it only fell a short distance as I got out of the car, I thought I'd put it back in my pocket but as I found out I hadn't. it fell face down and there must have been a small sharp stone that cracked the screen :(
 
Well I can always get the other colour ;)

It's arriving today so I guess I'll have to use it very carefully whilst I wait for a case and screen protector.

I think I'll go anti-glare for the screen protector. What case should I get if I want some decent drop protection but without making the phone feel like a Nokia 3310 brick?
