***Official GTAV PC Thread*** [Important warning updated in the OP]

I've been getting random BSODs, and I have a samsung SSD (840 Evo), might give this a go!

just to add a bit more info for you..
my BSOD's were happening within a few minutes of starting the game up, (i have 6GB system RAM)
with a windows msg saying low system memory
my 840 pro was in reliability mode, apparently it screws up something to do with vertual RAM, performance mode was suggested as a fix, worked for me

Thanks for the insight, I got mine completely randomly, played for 2 hours and got one, played for 20 mins and got one. Will investigate!

Does anyone here textures not loading while driving fast in cars? Seems it's quite a wide spread issue, getting it loads myself making part of the game unplayable.

Game runs brilliantly otherwise, tried latest drivers, repair, different settings and so on.

Running on a - 2500k @ 4.4ghz, 8gig ram and GTX680 at high/veryhigh and 50-60 fps and temps are fine.

God, doing heists with randoms is just a recipe for disaster. Just got stuck doing a setup mission and one of the players in there was just shocking, literally running out into the open against 20+ enemies, constantly trying to throw grenades everywhere and blowing himself up etc.

We finally killed all the enemies after a good 10+ attempts, one guy went off delivering a plane and this crappy player decides to just commit suicide seconds before we were gonna pass the mission :o so another few attempts at the mission again after he died some more and we finally did it, turns out the crappy player was the host as well, I quit straight out of that lobby lol

God forbid anyone having fun on a game, not like he actually paid for it and has to play your way. Oh wait................

Ughhhh

That is probably my issue as well.... However it comes across as a stutter and the game catching up, like someone said, a rubber band with the graphics.

I have redownloaded, well in 10 mins, so will see if that is any different. My original install it took and hour to unpack on my SSD with 40GB spare after it had expanded...

I will also set my SSD to high performance if it is not that way already.

What level should I be for heists? Is there a set level that you need to be? Of course I'll have to save up for weapons etc first to even begin.

You need to be a minimum of level 12 and own a high end apartment in order to host and setup heists. You can join others in the setup/actual heists from any level though.

Must be mentally challenged though to think fun means doing the things he's doing just to troll other people's time spent on the game.

If you like blowing yourself up, just do it in singleplayer?

About the only thing Steam is good for!
