Are you one of them?

My train journey is spent between audio books, music and personal project time.

I have about an hour of time on my journey so I can work on my server by rdp from my phone (I need a new tablet!)

It's when my greatest ideas form about things! I still carry a notepad with me because ideas just happen.

Like now I'm at Bromley south and I'm thinking about how to setup centOS to run steam streaming to android when I get my nvidia card... tunngle would probably also work but wheres the fun in using someone else's solution?!

I've done perfectly well thus far :).

I often walk through some pretty rough area's but still wouldn't turn my music down/off whatever.

In fact, someone was stabbed on my route home from work, a couple of months back, just after I'd walked through that park .

Yea? Somone was murdered on my route.... i win ;)

My girlfriend is and it drives me up the ******g wall.
Always tapping away at Facebook/Whatsapp. What really drives me mad is she will break off conversation with me to answer a text message, or make a noise to acknowledge I've said something, then alter it transpires she wasn't listening to the conversation at all.

Winds me up at the dinner table too. Thing is, it then irritates me when I phone her and she doesn't answer, as I know the phone is glued to her bloody hand.

Are you dating my gf? :p I now refuse to repeat myself if she fails to register something due to being on her phone

Nah I'm not one of them, in fact people who are constantly buried in their phones really gets on my nerves.

However I am one of those people who has headphones on a lot of the time :)

I check mine every so often, but I could go a few hours without looking at it. The only other time is when I'm bored and have nothing better to do to pass some time.

Then again there are still people that drive whilst on their phones not paying attention to pedestrian crossings and so on.

This is one of my pet hates. So many people do not realise how dangerous it really is, i nearly got hit by some stupid cow on her phone whilst behind the wheel. Light was red too so she obviously missed that.

+1 for drivers on their phone. I always do appropriate hand gestures if I see anyone doing it (not swearing, but impersonating being on a mobile!)

I tell folk to 4k off if they grab their phone during a face to face conversation / meet.
I find it incredibly rude that someone on the other end of a phone takes precedence over the person your stood in front of.
I do look at my phone quite a bit but usually just sending stupid memes on whatsapp.

I seem to be able to walk at a normal pace and look where I am going even if I am playing about with my phone. Many people cant.

I notice a lot of women driving with their phone in their hand, can they not put it down?

The only time I look at my phone if I am walking is if I'm looking at a mapping app or have received a call/text (not email).

On public transport ... have no problem with using it on there if I am on my own but usually I'll be reading my kindle. I may check my mail on it occasionally and if I have a change on the trains check realtime information relating to that.

An unfortunate instance of this in the supermarket car park a couple of weeks ago. I saw the girl had her head down in the phone whilst driving through the pedestrian crossings, fortunately I had my wits about me to shout across to the woman on the other side to not step out as the girl was driving through them like nobody existed.

Could have been nasty.
