Microsoft Band

So got home from work yesterday and found my wife had picked me up one of these, talk about wife of the year!

Pretty impressed so far I must say, considering how it looks its very comfortable.

Took it to the gym this morning and it tracked my treadmill session pretty close to what the machine said which was cool.

Going to be interesting to see what the battery life is like.
 
I really hope they continue to develop this and for this. If they release a new ne next year I'll get it.
They release it to late this year, got something else instead.
 
Interested in trying this on and testing it but can I find a store with one? NO!
Annoying thing is that said well known high street store has them available for delivery to store next day so obviously has stock.
Get them in the damn stores then for people to test:rolleyes:

Still testing this but I spent the whole day with it having watch mode on and connected to my phone all day and with a gym session on Saturday and by the end of he day I still had like 3/4 of the battery left so I would think I could get at least two whole days of this kind of use.

I tend to chuck it in the charger when I have a shower which tops it up fast.

Very impressed so far I must say.

It has its own magnetic charger. I had to cancel my pre-order due to unexpected water leak which I need to get fixed. Might get one on friday.
O2 Shops have them in stock if you want to look at one first hand. Good to hear your impressed.
 
My only complaint so far is the screen durability, as mentioned by others it would seem it doesn't take much to scratch it.

Just noticed a fairly big one on mine, no idea how I did it :(
Might have to look at a protector for it, I hate those things though.
 
48hr battery life again turns me off these sort of gadgets. As cool as all this portable tech is, it doesn't really offer me anything that would make an impact to me or make me miss not having it.
 
just received mine.

I love my watch so was planning to wear this on my other wrist. I think it's going to take some getting used it.

it's kinda odd. bigger than I expected and less comfortable. but that may be me not used to wearing something on my other wrist.
 
When I first got it out of the box I thought it looked uncomfortable, I barely notice its on though.
Unless I am typing, then it rests on the desk :)

Used it to call the wife when I was driving, that was pretty handy :)

Yea mines just arrived, its actually a lot neater than I thought it would be, no where near as bulky and a really nice fit on the wrst and very light..

Also, for anyone, get Pimp My Band from the WP store, you can change the background to anything you like and themes.
