Nothing as subtle as that. Just told to go into the office and drop your pants. It's the British way.

I remember having some sort of medical in the final year of primary school. Would have been in 1992. I never did really understand why we had to have one though. They checked height, weight, vision, etc. The odd thing about it was having to stand in the office in front of the school nurse in just my underwear with both arms out straight in front of me while she wrote something down. Everyone in the class had to do the same thing.

I had this in the early 80s - the doctor used a spatula to lift something else out of the way for a better view :eek:

England. I went to Nursery School > Infant School > Junior School and then High School. Isn't that how it's always been over here?
