What would the purpose of having more than one though? I am just starting to get some gear but havent raided or got the dark below expansion. I will be getting the expansion pass when i have the funds and its good getting back into this
 
If I keep one duplicate then I'll keep more.

Upgrade be max then move using app. Makes life easier.

Got all my exotics in the vault now.. Just need that Crux...
 
Just means the likelihood of you picking a character that doesnt have it on them is lower. Still a chore even with app to muck around with setups when you want to just get something done.

Its why most had duplicates in the first place - when it comes to primaries with burns only raid weapons have them so are still pretty unique and very useful when its going to be your main weapon. Never understood secondary/heavy duplicates outside of the Icebreaker...

I have a 3rd party loadout app on my iPad. It lets you create weapons load outs from your entire collection and save them. I've created 4 load outs - one for each burn type, and a "standard" load out I use. It then takes no more than a single click to transfer everything to one character. It takes longer to swap between characters. That's why I'm now considering sharding all my duplicate exotics.
 
Generally when I'm done with things I pop everything back in the vault, doesn't take long and it feels organised :)

The only thing I'd like is the ability to group weapons, eg I use the same 3 weapons for Crota so I'd like to group them together.. It would make the process easier. But that might just be me being lazy.

I was massively running out of space, now I'm ok.. My next step is to move the faction weapons into the character in that faction.. Then I'm done lol

Edit: You can transfer as many weapons as you like, and set which ones you want to equip. It'll be incredibly useful during Prison of Elders if a burn modifier is applied and you don't have the weapons on you. Load the app, select the loadout and you'll have all the right weapons equipped in 10 seconds.

Been using this for awhile and its great, really like how destiny has provided developers what they need to do things like this.
 
How secure is that app? I'd be worried about some loophole allowing anyone to go in and dismantle every item in your inventory!
 
Can't dismantle anything through the API, so safe enough :) finally got round to making my load outs on it, love it! One for each burn, a PvP, and one regular strike/raid setup.
 
OK, thanks. Yeah, I can't do any of these special events as I'm rather stuck at light level 25. I don't seem to be getting any better armour drops at all. I need to keep working at building my vanguard rank up so I can actually buy purple armour.

are you able to join a crota raid on normal ???? 5 people can run the raid fine with another sat back keeping safe ?? should be able to pick up a couple of pieces of armour in your first few runs

edit: just checked and its 27 to get in, try and get to that and post asking for help in the raid post

I might be running though the vault tomorrow night if you're interested.. you should be able to get in at level 25 and some purple might drop.. assuming you're on ps4?
 
Yep the game is trolling me now.

Two NF's last night with Anti & Davie; first up I get a terrible 125 discipline roll HoPF, then I get.... my 7th Monte Carlo... Where is my Hawkmoon Bungie?!

:(

Might get it from CE / VoG tonight but I don't hold out hope.

I had about 5-6 games of crucible control last night and for 4 of the games 5 of the other team were using thorn, we kept getting trashed so I think it changed the teams then in the next lot 3 of the other team were using thorn.

I think Thorn is like the suros first was and a little OP so people are taking advantage. It would be the same with hawkmoon if it wasn't so elusive (for some).

Anyway, if you can't beat em n all that. I've started levelling my own thorn for Osiris. :)
