What did you do to your bike today?

Went to Suzuki Dealer to do the 1st service, so finally I can finish doing my mods :)
Already changed the levers and installed the fenda extender.

Already received the belly pan and rear hugger, still waiting for the new indicators and some more little things :)

Quickshifter enabled ECU flash = Quickshifter :D

Shall be testing it properly tonight, only got out 10mins before the rain set it, appears quickshifters like acceleration, cruising and changing it's very clunky, high revs is smooth.

id be interested to see what your bhp figures are on the r6

mine is a claimed 109bhp but god knows how much it is now

how come they have to unlock it in the ecu? should be unlocked as standard imo

It's probably an extra that the manufacturers don't want you using unless you pay them to install it.

There are a number of things that are locked by default, not sure why you'd think a quickshifter would be enabled by default, I wouldn't have thought Yamaha would have wanted that but it seems they do.

Will get a graph up when I have it, 2014 R6, Full Yoshimura R55 exhaust... should be 125bhp at the crank (whatever that is at the wheel) hoping for 110-114 at the wheel

I just thought Yamaha would be so kind to already enable it

There are different ways of doing it, you can get your ECU reflashed and a quickshifter module to go with it or you can buy a standalone aftermarket part like the HM one (as I did) or a PCV and quickshifter module. You do not need to reflash the ECU to use a standalone one.

I've been looking into purchasing the kit to do the ECU reflash myself then being able to tinker with it as I'm planning to enter some amateur races next year. Does it make a big difference? A lot of folks on the internet say it does but that does not count for much!

Junking all the Emissions crap on my bike today.
got these to blank it off

got a nice surprise this morning
my ZR7 made it into Junes edition of Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Mag

It is a nice bike, I'm a Kawasaki fanboi, but a 1999 bike is considered a classic? I have pants older than that.
