No you should be fine as long as you keep the builds on the lemo 2 around 1.4...
You only need to lower your nic if your using low ohm coils, I still vape 1.8mg in the morning to get over the morning fag feeling on a 1.6 ohm coil.

Sent my istick back, thinking of replacing it with a SX Mini (I know there's a bit of a price difference lol) as everyone seems impressed with theirs and getting a BV Beast with it.

I swear todd has been trolling me for the last few days by posting photos of his SX mini with the beast in shorty form. I'm still waiting on mine at the moment.. :(

Just got round to trying some homemade gingerbread custard a lad on SV sent me I totally forgot about! Think I've had 50ml of it 5 month now and...WOW! What a pleasant surprise and made a full on house clean feel very much worth it :D

I'm just about to make the move from a Kanger T3S to a 1.8 ohm Nautilus set up.

I usually vape 24mg liquids with the T3S, but I'm reading about these lower ohm devices and dropping the nicotine strength.

Should I add some lower strength juices from myepack while I'm putting the order in?
I normally use a 24mg Red Bull variant if anybody has any myepack recommendations.

24mg

It's really up to you mate, what I finding out is that the lower nicotine mg I go the more I vape. so I'm taking in about the same amount of nicotine, there's only 24 hours in day. lol

The only thing is higher mg at lower ohms can be really uncomfortable to vape, so it's worth getting lower mg else you might not be able to use the Nautilus.

I was vaping 18-24mg juice for about the last 3 years, was on 36 sometimes before that. I've lately been coming down a lot. I mostly vape 12-16mg now with 18mg now and then. I think I'm likely getting about the same amount of nicotine overall but vaping more pre pull. I've never been interested in clouds at all so higher PG / mg juice was my standard.

I think these days I'd tell someone new to buy 12 and 18mg if they would be some basic good kit. Mostly so they would have 18mg in case they needed more but also 12mg which would hopefully not be to tough on throat hit if they didn't need a big hit while changing over.

JayMax I'd buy some lower mg juice, if it ain't strong enough you'll likely just end up vaping more to get what you need.

No worries mate... Happy Birthday... It's mine next week and I've just refused/didn't offer to buy a zero sx for £520 pounds, crazy money and that was considered cheap for that device.

I'll be very interested in a real world review of the IPV4 once you get it.

Cheers :)

Hopefully should have it with me monday/tuesday, quick thought when you say mod wattage / 2.5 = battery amps, I take it this is overall, over how ever many batteries the mod takes? So 100w / 2.5 = 40A, 2 x 18650 device, so minimum of 2 x 20A cells?

Vapor-Z appear to be dragging their feet getting my green crack & atlantis 2 shipped, ordered thursday, paid £9 to get next day delivery in the hope I'd see them saturday/monday and my order is still sat with them as unfulfilled, so its not even shipped yet

From what I understand, in serial you need both batteries to be 40 amp as the charge is passed from one battery to the other, and the amp stress of the first battery will be 40 amp.

Tourchy

In parallel both batteries should be doing the same amount of work at the same rate, so they can be halved.

With the mod being 100w, it's more likely to be a serial box mod with the battery giving out (8.4v) rather than a parallel...

I hope that's right and makes sense. lol

Rianne, the boss lady from Vapor Z is on SV at the moment, if you would like to moan at her.. lol

EDIT: don't forget to swap the batteries order around as one will age a lot quicker if you don't.. and don't use the built in charger; IMHO it's not safe to charge in serial.

Battey Configs.

Yep that makes sense, the IPV4 is serial, 8.4v, I wasn't broadening my battery search wide enough, I'd found 30,32,35,64A but initially no 40's (probably should have checked the first post of this thread :o).

I want to avoid built in chargers completely, I'll sleep better at night knowing I have full control over what batteries are doing.

Any chargers that will give indication of battery condition?

E: Thanks again for the help :)

Just made aload of coils, Claptons, twisted, triple twisted, quad twisted, twisted claptons.

it was stressful no pictures sadly as I was excited to Vape on them. They looked AWESOME! are the worth the hassle? HELL NO! my simple 0.5 ohm 4 wrap 24g craps all over them.

All have done in my eyes is waste a load of juice/wire/cotton. I shall stick with my simple builds and throw massive clouds :)

I like the nitecore intellicharger I have, it has individual charging rails to give enough charge to each of the individual batteries, cheaper chargers will only stop charging once the last one has finished charging, so you end up overcharging mixed size batteries or batteries that's been in a serial mod. Mines only the cheaper i2, but there's a flashing digital display version d2/d4. All the lights on the digital version would drive me crazy at night.

You can get them from FT, there's loads of fakes around but the authentic ones from FT are legit, I've opened mine up and worked out I didn't know what I doing.. Lol, it makes a buzzing noise when there's no battery in it or if it's finished charging.

I've also have a single efest charger, it chargers via USB and its meh... Does the job when on holiday, but it's greatness is that I can use any battery to that in it to charge USB items like another mod with built in battery, kinda like the MVP.

Neither of them gives you the health of a battery but most good chips will tell you if the battery is too weak and if your charging your batteries too often it's time to change them. :)

What the hell am I doing wrong............

changed the cotton on my subtank rda coil a few times and its just too hot.

Screen shows 1.7ohm, 3.4v, 8W. I usually vape at higher wattage than that........confused....

Cheers, the D4 looks like a nice bit of kit, might grab one of those for home and an i2 for work, oddly enough I can get a D4 from amazon for less then FT :p Not often I can say that!!

Once this is done, the next thing is mixing my own liquid, but I'll save that for another day :D

Can someone recommend a good mouth to lung tank, am getting fed up using the protanks. Thanks

Beyond Vape Silo if your after a 22mm tank or aspire nautilus mini I'd your looking for something smaller.

Has it junk up? Remove the cotton and dry burn the coil, all the junk should burn off and you should see the coil glow red form the centre out. You should also able to see if there's any issues with the coil then like hot spots, hot legs etc. the coil should be directly above the air hole with as little as possible touching the metal base. Cotton needs to be fluffy and just touching the bottom base. Sorry if this is telling you how to suck eggs.

Post some photos of the build precotton and post cotton, if your still getting an issue.

Carefully.. There's loads of fakes around..

Ordered another Lemo v2 as I dropped mine, been really impressed with it, it is my goto atty at the moment.

Really liking my istick at the moment, no issues so far with it, nice size and the battery lasts all day, so that's me happy.

Have a subtank mini on the way, just to see what all the fuss is about, and Im trying to resist buying a SX-mini, I will have wait til payday, but I really like the look of them and fancy something with a little bit of quality to it...

Ended up with a pair of efest 35A batteries bundled in with a nitecore i2 for £26 delivered :)

I went with 35A over 40A, as doing some calculations on steam engine, to draw over 35A @ 100w requires a 0.08ohm coil, I have no intention of going anywhere near that, lowest I'll be using are the 0.15ohm (25A) ni200 OCC coils, I usually aim for ~0.8-1.0 on my RDA's :)

Hopefully my theory is correct :p

Now...making my own juice! I'm going to take the simple route first, 70/30 6mg base from vapedomain, 100ml, with either dragon slayer or nitrogen concentrate. VD recommend a 15% mix with their flavors, so is this as simple (with an end goal of 100ml liquid) of draining off 15ml of the nic base, replacing it with the concentrate and leaving it to steep?

Looking for a very fruity, strong aftertaste juice but I've tried a few and can't really find it. I had one when I first started think it was vampire or something, but threw it out when finished and didn't order anymore haha.

If anyone can recommend some brands to try cheers.

Jester Juice by Vaping King. It's the best sweet fruity mix juice I've ever had by absolutely miles. It's also the only juice that I've consistently vaped regularly all the way through my time vaping. Can't recommend it enough.
