Its actually quite complex - but it seems that 5th and 6th are garaunteed to go into it now, with it potentially reaching 7th if Arsenal win the cup.

Exactly. The only difference re 6th place would be where they entered. If Arsenal win the Cup then they go straight into the groups, if Villa win then 6th has to play the qualifier.

If Rodgers get sacked which I doubt and most of the time he has done well it won't be based on this game though it highlights all his seasons failings in one e.g. transfers, players being played wrong, playing a player as he feels he needs a massive send off or one last glory come back,chopping and changing tactics not using strikers etc. What I don't get is how or what did he change so much when you consider we had 10 game run digging results out he must have changed something behind scenes to help us go off track so badly again

I dont think LFC are "throwing" the match. I think they are just playing badly and Stoke playing well. It happens sometimes. Chelsea conceded 5 goals, against Spurs (I think), so it can happen to any team.

For the record Man Utd are also playing badly today, but so are Hull, so the score remains 0-0.

We just haven't got the ball forward at all. Valencia has been appalling and Young has been invisible. 90% of our possession is with the defenders who can't get it forwards effectively.
