I think a club like Liverpool would be ideal for Klopp, I don't think he would suit well with Man City now, just like Dortmund it was more a cult and a bit more edgy so to speak. The fans, the club etc. Also being just outside the billionaire club (granted liverpool have spent big)
Whether he would be the answer to everything is still unknown.
As a Newcastle "fan" it is a shame that we have no ambition anymore because with the way everything is at Newcastle it is a club that should have that cult following and certain atmosphere, club presence in the area and local vibe that not many clubs can say they do have. If we had any sort of ambition and not become lifeless and sterile Klopp would fit in within the Newcastle scene and club mentality.
But that will never happen and I laugh at the thought, what a shame.
Anyway if I were a Liverpool fan id be desperate for a character like that within the club.
Edit: I just don't get Rodgers, I'm not sure what he is about he seems a bit soulless, Rodgers was riding the wave of success left by Suarez the previous season, looking at it now that is surely obvious.
