Serious question. What is the law regarding cyclist pulling over if they have a que of traffic behind them? Tractors drivers always get abuse for this but a large proportion of road users dont seem to realise you have get the vehichle and any implement fully off the road and especially around here there are very few opportunities for this. Out of the multiple cyclist I see daily only one old chap ever pulls over to let the traffic past if he is causing a backlog of traffic.

No, if you go over into the Motors forum most of them still think they pay Road Tax even though it was abolished in 1936.
Cycling on the roads I get it shouted at me at least once a week.

Aren't tractors limited to 20mph electronically? I remember reading that they could go much faster but weren't allowed to by law.

AFAIK there's nothing that says cyclists need to pull over. In fact, highway code rule 66 says (among other things):

You should never ride more than two abreast, and ride in single file on narrow or busy roads and when riding round bends

It's up to the individual to decide what is a "narrow or busy road".

Not that new. I used to see a guy most mornings unicycling to work wearing suit and tie carrying a briefcase when I lived in west London more than 5 years ago.

At least I assumed he was going to work

I see a guy cycling home on a recumbent every day at about 22:30 on a dual carriageway.

He has lights and his visibility to other road users is still trash.

Unicycling in heavy traffic is uhh... equally troll

Recumbents are a double whammy really. Hard to see and capable of travelling much faster than other road users expect.

That para-Olympian recumbent cyclist lives around here, I often see her training (Actually, not recently. I wonder what has happened??)

While I admire her determination I have to say she is also a right PITA on narrow country roads!

During the snow a couple of years ago I saw her struggling on an un-cleared icy road!

That is insane! Paraplegic? Cant walk and push it if you get stuck! :eek:

It was well sub-zero, She is lucky she didn't die of exposure!
