Can't remember exactly but it was about £8k for the wedding and £5k for honeymoon (including what we spent).
Only things I would change from a saving money perspective are:
-Should have spent less on evening food, there was a LOT left over (majority of guests were present at the sit down meal which went on til fairly late afternoon).
-Photographer was OK but didn't feel like a grands worth. Then again we did get a few very good pics that maybe an 'amateur' wouldn't have lined up.
It's a bit crazy thinking how much one spends on a single day, but then again it should (in theory) be a one-off. Cliched I know, but it genuinely was the best day of my life. And probably still would have been spending half the money, but it would really have sucked to be thinking 'damn, wish I hadn't been so tight and spent a bit more'.
I think it is possible to get married fairly cheaply and still a good wedding; I was surprised by how reasonable some (not all) elements were (e.g. Church was well under a grand including bell-ringing etc), so if you pick and choose should be fine.
