Enough of promises and maybes, people want to see something tangible, like maybe a new actually decent product.

The thing is, AMD have made no promises or maybes. It's all just rumour. It's frustrating when you're excited for news on a new product, but all the chaff has come from click bait sites.

Let's hope for a surprise teaser soon though :)

Nah I was more annoyed at those who were using the 980ti thread to just bash TX owners, they seemed a little insecure when they have to find any opportunity they can get to criticise purchases other users have made with their own money?

My comment about not buying a Titan branded card again doesn't say it all, it's just now I know that in future nVidia won't wait so long between the Titan and the cut down card.

They won't make a huge loss, it's more like £100, not much more than the losses you make after a few month of owning any card bought brand new at launch.

Fair enough and I don't disagree about it being up to the end user and what they do with their money. But I don't think there was anything wrong with the comments being made like TX killer as it is true in some way :p

But if you are happy with the titan x and what you paid and don't regret waiting an extra 2 months then surely you would be happy to do the same again next year?

People are only loosing a £100? Is that on here or the likes of ebay? Fair enough that! Although I imagine they could lose a bit more value over the next week.

AMD have leaked teaser pics of the card, and spoken about HBM at length. It's not as if Fiji has been a secret from AMD, and everyone is waiting. They haven't launched anything new in an unusually long time. Which proved to be a big mistake and massive drop in market share.

The time to do something is now, especially with the 980 Ti launch.

No more teasers, new products that perform well is what's needed.

Leaks / Speculation is part of any launch. What's frustrating is AMD's lack of execution.

Oh well, let's see what they do at Computex tomorrow. We should expect them to ignore the 980 Ti launch altogether and talk about APU's and future Zen architecture :p

It's far from being a TX killer, it may have affected future TX sales but it certainly doesn't outperform the card clock for clock.

Nah because now I know they may only wait 2 months between the Titan and the cut down versions, before this we didn't know and people didn't expect the cut down model till much later in the year.

Mayh3m said earlier his TX sold for around £780 today.

Anyway this is getting rather off topic, there's a Titan X thread that can be used for this discussion.

This thread needs deleting to be fair, it's just full of **** and pointless trolling now.

Welcome to every single rumour thread on OcUK and every other forum on the internetz. All full of ****, made up rubbish, trolling and some massively off topic posts. I am the only one who has posted anything sensible..... :D:p

4GB, <400 Watts, between a 980 and a 980TI.

If that is right, and it seems incredibly backwards to me....

AMD should not bother with HBM at this point, clearly its adding nothing but expense and lack of capacity.

If the rumours are true HBM may be the Fury's only saving grace, AMD have been marketing about 4K so I wouldn't be surprised if that's the only area where it excels.

Thing is, not many people have a 4K screen, and even if it does perform better at 4K it's not going to give magical high performance anyway.
