I assumed we were just going with zombified as a recognisable term. I've read the books and I try my best to avoid spoiling the TV series for people that haven't. From memory of the books I don't think it has been confirmed any more than in the TV series.

We are also now at the point where many things have diverged from the books so I wouldn't take anything a book reader is convinced of as gospel.

Edit: I can see your point about being "eagle-eyed" but it was blindingly obvious in the last season. If you go rewatch it I'm sure you'll come to the same conclusion, and not due to now having it pointed out.

Will be interesting to see who 'the faith' would choose as their champion in a trial by combat?
One would think Loras could handle himself against any put before him, but if he has had the Cersie 'breaking' treatment, he might be a much weaker man for any potential fight.

In the Hound against Berric, Berric was clearly a warrior of some potential that such a trial would be fair. Same with Tyrion being able to choose a champion for his battle.
Unsure where that will go, or if they move things along in a different way.

This thread has become an absolute mess of people getting bent out of shape about spoilers of a program that's aired or whinging about things they think are spoilers from the books that aren't.

Let me tell you anyone that has read the last two book hasn't got much to spoil because **** all happens. Brans not even in them, they can't spoil it because nothing happens, which makes his arc the most exciting from the last two books ;)

Just realised as well. In the last series didn't that wierd tree person say to Bran, "you will never walk again Bran, but you will fly"

Even more of a hint towards the dragons.

Eh? Bran has nothing to do with Dragons. He uses Crows. And Bran is a Warg, so he can mentally take over the body of whatever he focusses on.

Totally agreed :p

I'm really not buying the treatment of the Tyrells - at this point in the TV show they are the most powerful surviving house in Westeros - with an army 60% larger than any other single house/entity IIRC and with Tywin gone most of the others would likely side with them if it came to it - while not supposedly an openly aggressive house theres no way they'd sit back and let Margaery and Loras be treated like that.

OMG, what an absolutely brilliant episode. Finally we see the white walkers in all of their glory. The final part was better than many films. That main walker guy is darn creepy. Doesn't look like there are many people left?

Indeed, he is one of the greatest wargers of all time, if you really think he won't be warging a dragon at some point, in a fiery mess of oblivion against the walkers and their boss, then I think the 'magic' element of the show is missing a trick.

Yes, but you saw what was a massive-bodied guy in the Qyburn's room with all sorts of medical stuff being done and there was a conversation between Cersei and him just after the Mountain was poisoned/wounded where they talked about saving him and whether or not he will be strong. It's extremely clear-cut.

Ser Robert Strong {perhaps?)

BOOK spoiler

That shot of the 4 white walkers on horses just watching from above and the main white walker looking at Jon Snow was awesome! Ending was perfect with it just silent leaving the viewer to realise how much trouble they are actually in.

Afterwards I remembered Brans vision along with Daenerys when they saw the throne room smashed to bits and covered in snow. Foretelling maybe?

I thought the frenetic nature of the fighting was excellent :), however major annoyance with the 'CONVENIENTLY PLACED BOAT' that all the fleeing people ignored.

BOOK spoiler

My comment earlier was based purely on what had happened on the show - I thought in the book something else had happened to that character. Having googled your spoiler I seem to have completely missed that!

Doh!
