i would definitely reforge Felwinter's, assuming you plan on using it in Crucible. Shot Package is the perk to roll for and then anything that gives you extra range.
 
I believe so, I normally spend Mondays farming glimmer and doing my weeklies quickly. Got 2x Lv5 nows and 1x Lv3, going to try get that too lv5 today hopefully, then farm glimmer for the weapons on Monday.

Sweet. First reforge attempt, I got Shot Package and Luck In The Chamber. And there's a Rifled Barrel perk in the second tree to increase its range. I think that's a keeper. :D
 
After spending the last hour glimmer farming, I have only one question.

Why the heck do heavy 800lb Cabals jump so much. It's the most annoying thing in the game!

Anyways, got my IB scout rifle now. Time to level it up and see how good it is.
 
It's only easy now due to the buff increasing day by day. If i'd have known how easy it was waiting for this weekend i wouldn't have grinded it out for days in the week.
 
Aye but I could have started Thursday. Did bounties then log. Grinding glimmer as we speak!!
Wonder how many cable are massacred when the iron banner runs!

Got my one etheric which can get my warlock to 34....question is, VoG boots or CE boots?

I've been trying out the PoE sniper in PvP....it's pretty decent actually. Perfect Balance for PvP, then switch to Field Scout for PvE.....I quite like it.

I finished off the grind this morning at 2:30. Then an hour this morning when I got up before work. I could not get a win last night in around 7 games but I think the game bugged out on my and took my coins and give me the last 7 rep I needed.

Was only aiming for rank 3 on both toons but ended up getting 3 etheric. Boots and gloves for both toons and picked up the scout rifle.

I take it the higher rank shaders just give the same bonus?

don't forget the double rep on alternate characters.

If you have one character at rank 4 or 5, the other will rank up twice as fast. It was possible to get a character from rank 0 to rank 5 in an hour or two last night if you had another at rank 5.

I got mine to 5,4 & 4.

What a week! The Iron Banner is over and despite my moaning there were more highs than lows. I even managed to get all my characters to level 5 and got the six pieces of etheric light. (One of which I've already wasted but that's another story.)

So what did I learn? That if you don't have a Vex Mythoclast or Thorn you are a bit screwed. However, I did occasionally hold my own running around with level 32 characters wielding The Last Word. Sometimes I even came top of the leaderboard. Imagine how ace I would have been with one of those weapons and in level 34 armour. :D

Sometimes I was so crap I nearly cried with the noob mistakes I was making. Charging round corners straight into a blast from Felwinter's Lie. Throwing grenades and hitting doorways and killing myself. Using Warlock's Nova Bomb and hitting pillars and killing no-one. Using Hunter's Golden Gun and then finding there's no-one nearby! Whoops, it's run out!

I did however get my 500 points in the Thorn bounty quest so now I just have to do the mad Summoning Pits part to kill Xyor.
 
I had a great week in IB too. Got all 3 characters to level 5, and feel like I generally improved my PvP skills in the process. I still had god awful rounds where I couldn't hit a barn door, but I've gone from someone who averaged 0.75 a few months back, to now being around 1.2 and continuing to rise. According to Destinytracker most of my stats are now around the top 50% mark, a far cry from the 80% it used to be. Hopefully I'll keep improving and one day I'll feel like I'm actually good at PvP.
 
I did all three to rank 5 as well, was surprised how quick and and easy it was getting my other two ranked up with the alternate character rep boost. Getting 2000 odd rep from handing in a few bounties alone.

Also managed to my first trip to the lighthouse in trials of osiris!
 
I attempted Trials at the weekend, it didn't end well. We won our first 2 games, but then Bungie decided to match us against full teams who had gone flawless before. One team was so good the match was over before we'd barely got a shot off. Then we were matched with them again! It was ridiculous. I don't mind playing against people a bit better than me, it encourages creative thinking to try to get some wins, but these guys were so good it was ridiculous, and fairly soul crushing. Normal crucible can make me feel like I'm rubbish at times, but this was the first time I'd ever felt completely inept. It wasn't a nice feeling!
