Just the idea of it is just terrible and shows how silly they are to put all their faith in some deity.

I thought it was to conjure up another "stannis demon" like the one who slit Renly's throat. The magic is real and does work as we've already witnessed. That scene has really made me hate Stannis.

Loved the ending, I expected the dragon to show up probably because of the episode title but never expected dany to climb onto the back and fly off:eek: I thought the dragon was going to die then dany release the other two dragons.

Another brilliant episode  Honestly thought that Afro dude sat next to Denys in the arena was behind it all. Guess not.

are we sure Shireen is dead, after all it could just be a test of faith, yes i'm sure that she has been burned but as we saw with the leader of the men without banners the fire god can bring people back to life and if he does then it win/win with his men.

don't mess with Stannis the guy mad enough to kill his daughter so i'm going to do what he tell's me to do
and
whole **** i just saw a person burn to death and come back to life, this is one powerfull god we follow we bound to win this war

I'm enjoying the majority of the book departures so far, but for some reason find it incredibly annoying that the Unsullied are so useless in the TV series. They could at least get them to do some awesome shieldwall stuff before all falling over.

I think they're just above average soldiers when spread out and doing things like policing/guarding.
Get them on a battlefield where they can properly form up and use their spears they go all Spartan.

Both times to be fair they're heavily outnumbered.

I'm finding it all a bit underwhelming... the dragon VFX were hilarious.

The whole Gladiator scene was pretty comical, bordering nonsense.
The Stannis stuff was brutal but i hope it leads somewhere.
The **** (lol competitor) story took its real turn for her to get her revenge. Cleverly foreseen and designed to put her in the right place.

Yes the unsullied are completely useless its not even like they get mobbed 4 to 1 and die. They lose straight up fights vs nobodies. I hate the way they look. Their costume is so mass produced "budget."

I dunno, its a good show but this series has been by far the worst overall.

Cracking episode, I thought that would be the finale, they're rapidly running out of book material now.

They sat down with GRRM for a whole week last year or the year before and have gone through the whole story and how it all ends. To use an analogy, both they and George are driving from LA to NY and will stop off along the same points along the way, but the specific routes they will and already have taken are different.

Pretty sure by that screaming shes toast.

Question to the masses:
When Davos gave her the present and went away, did he know what was to happen? Was that why he gave her a gift, or was he just saying, see you in a few days love?

Anyone else surprised at the Harpies taking down the chap Dany was going to marry? I had assumed all along he was the harpy.
-edit
Also after the recent stacks of dumpvilles and random attacks, could the 'thousands' of unsullied not have considered a larger royal guard contingent?

I'm fairly sure he had a good idea, just not exactly. He was sent away as to not know or interfere.

I'm sure he is/was a harpy it all happened so fast that it could have been faked? who knows. as for the gaurd the unsullied have become weaker and weaker as to when we first saw them has to happen in shows/movies to make it seem "fair" and progress story at times.

Wouldn't say that, she did jump on a dragon to get away from him this time ;)

To go get the other 2 ;)

I somehow doubt we've had 10 years on screen in the last 4 seasons.

it's been a year? no? The dragons are VERY young there is cannon art work to show an aged dragon and they are roughly 10x the size they are currently.

Someone needs to give the unsullied a sword.
They always seem to get mowed down :p

They need varied weapons it's ridiculous how OP non trained people are against them lol

It's hard for TV series to budget visual effects to the best standards especially CGI. I thought it was fine for what it was and it got through what was happening does it really matter?

This season has been "slow" but far from the worst, we still have one episode left and the previous 2 have been 2 of the best episodes if not THE best episodes.

Maybe if it's that bad there's always the option to stop watching and not put yourself through the bad visuals and stuff :p

Plus we've had a glimpse of at least how big they can get in season 1 I believe? Hopefully they do get that big :D

Can the White Walkers re-raise the dead who have died?

I that makes any sense.

the dead don't die, they're dead already - they're supposed to burn them to make sure they don't come back but chopping them to bits when they're in their undead state certainly seems to slow things down in the TV show

Well looks like Meryn Trant is ****ed next week. I presume Arya will become the girl she gave the poison to a couple of weeks ago, go with him in the brothel and stab him in his neck.

hope so, seems like they're headed that way - make him a paedo too so he's an even bigger **** than he already was

Not sure, don't think that he knew per say but he has always been uneasy about the red woman.

Yup that was surprising as was them killing the other rich folk - should surely have shown them just killing the members of the crowd in the poor clothing - the freed slaves.

Also the unsullied are supposed to be some of the finest soldiers in the world whereas these sons of harpy lot are just a bunch of ad hoc insurgents drawn from the rich of Meereen... it should take a lot more for them to kill the unsullied IMO

ditto to the pit fighters vs ser mormont - a westerosi knight ought to be on another level of ability in comparison to them
