Tried the S6 and it's a lovely phone once you turn the colour to Basic and use an alternative launcher such as Nova. The home button is disappointingly rattly and cheap feeling though which spoils the phone for me so it will be going back. This seems to be a common issue with the S6 ! Fingerprint scanner was very flaky too.
I've found the home button on my Edge to be solid and the Fingerprint scanner to work every time so far...to me it doesn't feel cheap maybe just bad luck on your handset?
I do agree though on the use of Nova, it was the first thing I did when I got the phone as it just looks a lot better than standard touchwiz.
I haven't found the need to change the colour setting however, I find adaptive to do the job fairly well.

The home button issue does seem to be limited to the standard S6 rather than the edge according to what I've read elsewhere.
I found the adaptive colour setting to be too saturated when watching iPlayer and looking at photos. Was ok for other stuff though.

5.1.1 out for the uk standard s6 now

Extremely easy, if you own a windows computer. The most difficult thing about it is having the patience to wait for the slow download of the firmware.
But don't see 5.1.1 worth upgrading, just a few not noticable tweaks and camera improvements. Memory management and auto brightness still broken.
Say I have the patience...is this through the standard Samsung Kies program? I was under the impression without rooting the standard firmware wouldn't necessarily work and I'd have to wait for the O2 update.
You should be able to install any firmware version that's signed by samsung.
I bought my S6 from germany and installed the UK BTU on it. You have to download the firmware to you computer first, then you download a tool called ODIN, run it on your machine whilst the phone is hooked up via USB.
