Mad Max; got to be honest I was bored most of the time. I didn't care about any of the characters. Sure the visuals and the stunts in places were amazing but ultimately I was bored by it all and it needed a story or something to happen.
Mad Max says like 3 words; a bunch of Victoria esq models and a lad driving a lorry through sand for 2 hours with lots of same looking people with motorbikes and other vehicles jumping and shooting at lorry.
What's a 'Victoria esq'
Max is a brilliant film, as others have said before needs to be seen in a cinema, not crappy cam/TS/WEBDL that I suspect, with the flurry on new reviews, people are basing in on.
Mad Max - 5/10. Aesthetically pleasing but style over substance.
Watched Sin City: A Dame to Kill For last night. Nothing on the original, the storylines were less interesting and I guess it suffers for no longer being novel like the first one. I hated how Mickey Rourke's character was just used as a meat shield for the other characters.
4.5/10
However the JGL segment is superb and was written especially for him, it's the only original piece in either movie.
The Judge. Peter M. McDonald delivers the finest performance of his career in this powerful 'coming of age' drama about a young man whose troubled relationship with his father is further complicated when he returns home after a long absence, only to discover...!!!
If I told you, I'd spoil the movie.
Anyway, it's quite good. 8/10.
Peter M. McDonald?
Are you talking about a different film to the 2014 film called The Judge with Rober Downey Jr in it?

Yep. And a damn fine job he did, too!
No, I'm definitely talking about that film. How did you miss Peter M. McDonald?![]()
That was a poor film.
Juror #3.A real gritty performance.

The style IS the substance.
