C9V has excellent customer services... They really can't be helpful enough..

Unlike some stores.. Speaking of those stores; hana modz one is only £110 pounds. I really like the idea of it, coming with both single and double battery back. But the QA on their last mods was a let now and the issues with the DNA too.

I'm not sure I understand the high watt vaping at all. I use my vw stick with a coil at about 1.8-2.2 ohms, and vape at 6watts. At 6watts the vape is cool, flavorsome and just a small throat hit.

I got a subox thinking I could get the same smooth hit and flavor with more vaper (and a better looking/smaller vw mod), but so far I'm unable to do so. I'm getting a harsh throat hit at anything above 8watts.

What am I doing wrong?

I am currently vaping 0.2ohms at 110W on a super airy dripper so it stays lovely and cool.

My juice is 3mg high VG. What Nic strength are you using?

Edit: Nevermind just saw your second post. I need to wake up. 6Watts for me I may aswell just breathe heavily :P

Some vape mail today.

I thought I'd try this dripper due to the innovative design. It's called the Mad Hatter Mini and it has a flip top for easy dripping. It's really a rather nice device. Flavour is good but not as good as the Derringer. The hinge is a bit loose on mine so I can't really give the build quality many plusses but it's not terrible. It was only £20 so I wasn't expecting UTA levels of build quality. It's a fun little thing and I'll probably use it when out and about because dripping in to it is so damn easy.

I also picked up a Marquis clone by Tobeco. Build quality on this is excellent and it comes with all the same hardware as the authentic (including the build posts). I stuck a quick 0.5 Ohm dual-coil in it and it vapes really nicely. Flavour is excellent but there's not enough airflow in my opinion. I might give it a try with a carb driptip and see where that gets me. Interesting little thing it is.

I could have gave you a marquis.. :).. There's a mad hatter mini as well now.

I keep trying to tell people the haze mini is where it's at.. don't you guys trust me lol ;)
I went to buy a second hand one yesterday but the cuff cap was cracked and by the time I've replaced that, I might as well buy a new one; next payday hopefully.

People say cloud 9 had good customer service from the main guy so i emailed him and asked for somit for £30 or under, he advised a estart kit for about 28 quid. Then i said what about seperates and he listed these. Just wondering what ppl think of his recommendation. Kinda wished it was a variable volt one tho as it looks like u really need it. Tho it does have a 4.2 or somit volt on it so who knows it might be enough to just leave it at that.

if you want to go down that road you could go with

Aspire CF G-Power 1600mAh Battery
Aspire USB Charger
Aspire K1 BVC 1.5ml Glassomizer

That comes in at £31.85 + postage.

Still thinking about a aspire k1 kit tho, has good reviews. But i somehow feel id get a better setup if i bought from diff shops for best prices and mix and match the battery and the chamberhead. Think i want at least a 650mah battery maybe with vv and reliable and will last awhile. Dunno about head but if the battery costs 20 notes then head should be 10 or less. but then id need a charger so maybe 5 for charger 8 for head and rest on battery, hopefully with free shipping from a decent site.

Yeah i know still asking about stuff but dont wana waste my money lol if im getting on a bit just say and ill not post as much in the thread. Dont wana annoy u all lol. And yeah still got the previous advice from few posts back to consider which is all very good and helpful for things to think about.

I think ive set on a price tho of £30 for the kit tho. Preferably if seperates then probably the 17 for battery as thats the main thing, 8 for head and 5 for battery charger. Sound good mix?

Was gona ask if anyone had old parts they didnt use anymore and maybe try vaping that way to get a taste of it but i doubt ppl have it and probs not allowed via rules or somit, would have saved a lot tho just with wondering about it for first time lol.

It's alright for the price I guess, depends if you feel you want to upgrade to direct lung inhales in the future - that kit won't cope.

Pretty much most people are saying the Subbox Mini kit which you can get for around £50 + £7 for a battery. Then again that immediately doubles your price!

No way im budging on more than £30, i already think im overspending enough just to "try" somit i might or might not even like. Its just a battery in a case and somit that heats up and a bit of glass and wick really i dunno how these things are even that much money. I wont buy the absolute cheapest as it will probably suck (lol) but the next step up from that should be reasonable to buy for not much money and be usable on a daily basis in my flat (wont smoke outside with it) just for when i watch tv so im doing somit which is all i did for smoking tbh.

Btw you say direct lung hit. Well all i do is draw into mouth then breath in after i draw what i wanted in. Doubt id breath vapor directly past mouth straight to lung, duno how u could tbh.

What's out there that around £50 or less that's like a Lemo 2 for air flow/flavour but generally better quality, the threads have a habit of locking themselves up on mind and every now and again it floods for absolutely no reason (I'm filling it as per instructions)

Edit: the Billow V2 and the Cthulu seem to both be well recommended?

Trust me. You're better off spending the money the first time around. I've been off cigs and vaping ~4 weeks now. I started with a £60 spend buying a Kanger Subox kot plus another £20 on juice. Since then Ive spent another £300 on juice and other stuff.

I've been using a subtank mini for 2 solid weeks I think it is now using the RBA deck. Not a single leak, fallen on it's side numerous times and off of my desk/bed side table, still in perfect nick. Would recommend!

You get used to it. I found with mouth-to-lung and e-cigarettes didn't work for me as I didn't get that lung-filling feeling as I did with smokes.

I'll be honest and say c9v ain't the cheapest place but when you have an issue, from my experience they really do want to help.

The squape r has a floating, very loose 510 pin coupled with poor DNA 40 and loose floating 510 on the vs, for a total of £260 RRP when I got the gear; it's the worlds most frustrating setup, anyway instead of making me jump hoops, they made some suggestions and sent another 510 pin as I requested. The issue is much better now; job done.

Wonder what the cheapest but genuine items site is for UK then. Saw the evod starter kit at c9 for 39 and Amazon and some other sites had em for half price of £20-24 ish saying they were genuine.

They are nice folks down there, I'd rather pay a few quid more to someone that won't turn their back on customers and deserve what they earn, than pay a tad cheaper to someone that has no ethics.

They take responsibility for what they sell, the stuff with FP for example. On that subject Canada's ECTA and our ECITA has told it's members to pull FP based on FP's own results that were published to challenge C9V :D Seems FP does not like to do things in writing and up to now has got away with it.

C9V did what the Vaping organizations like ECITA and ECTA should be doing.
