Thunderstorms - 2015

Love it how we had a super-cell passing over the North East 2 nights ago with pink, purple, blue non stop lightning for 3 hours. Get a storm down South and you's create a thread .....
 
Bah well it lasted 30 seconds, brilliant


I was after a show

Always dissapointed, unless there is more to come

Lightning in Stafford now, people's dogs are going mental.

Rain has just started as well.

I can't find my cat, so I hope he is indoors somewhere.
edit: OK, he is on the windowsill, good :)
 
Whoa !!!!!!!!!!!

that strike was close, the whole road is lighting up like daylight (or rather those awful blue leds)
I think it is a bit to the south of me, maybe Cannock

I've just realised, I've not actually gone to bed yet, but this is going to wake everyone else up :)

Had some epic lighting show over Walsall 15mins ago, all gone quiet now.

My phone seems to suggest more thunder at 3am though?! Can't see anything in radar apps.
 
So first few strikes over Nottingham that i head and they correspond with whats on the realtime update. Would say its fairly accurate
 
Wow! Just been woken up by a mental storm here in Derby! Pretty sure lightning hit a tree very close! Looks like it's passed but still chucking it down.
