US: Orange Is The New Black (Netflix Original Series)

Just finished watching season 3, bit disappointing, didn't seem to ever really get going, everything that happened in the finale should have really happened 6 episodes in!

Season 3 has been my favourite so far, not much of a cliffhanger, but a nice 15 minutes at the end. It's cool/depressing to see Piper's character evolve too. I think if this continues it's going to reach Breaking Bad levels of popularity.

That's not the question under debate. Women walking around with linked arms is not perceived as homosexual, but you are saying it is homosexual behaviour. Whether the same thing would be perceived as homosexual if done by men is not relevant.
 
Anyway, on topic...

The writing is a bit clumsy this series. Stella was badly introduced. Morello is sounding utterly absurd.

Is Stella that bird everybody bangs on about? The one all the women supposedly want to sleep with in real life?

If it's the model I think they're going to explore her more in season 4. She played a relatively small part in this series I thought.

There's so much stuff to look forward to next season. Can't wait!
 
Just finished the 3rd season last night. I thought it was entertaining.
I really think they should have gotten rid of Chapman at the end of the previous season though, I just find her and Alex annoying now and much preferred seeing the back stories to the other prisoners. I also couldn't stand Ruby Rose, she cannot act, looks like a boy and has an annoying Aussie accent. She ruined every scene she was in.

I didn't get why they couldn't report Coates for rape. In the previous season they were going to report Pornstache by getting some jizz for evidence, so Doggett should have just done the same.

Overall I thought it was a good 3rd season.

Now I need to catch up on True Detective!

fat lesbian and redneck had a discussion in the show about why they couldn't report him. Pornstache got reported because it was impossible for the prison to cover up because of the pregnancy. If they reported him, he would go unpunished as the prison would cover it up in this instance. This is when they decided a better punishment would be to stick things in his arse. Lol

They're not exactly going to get rid of chapman when the story is based on her experience. Ie she had to of been there to witness the goings on for the show to exist.
 
It was a bit of a slow burner for us... but on Season 2 now.

Jason Biggs is a bit of a one trick pony isn't he?

If you'd turned on and it is one of his scenes, you could be mistaken for watching one of the American Pie films...

Nice show, agree about season 3 being a bit weaker but at the same time it was excellent to see more back story from the other characters, looking forward to season 4 summer 2016.

Crazy eyes becomes a smarter and less crazy though !
