What film did you watch last night?

Spy.

Actually really enjoyed it and I thought I would merely sort of like it having watched most of the other Spy flicks over the years. Full of cursing, full of luls, Statham was great too.

Cut Bank. Some big names for a very average film!
This user review from imdb pretty much sums it up for me
When you manage to cast three brilliant actors in your film like John Malkovich, Bruce Dern and Billy Bob Thornton, then you are entitled to feel pretty let down when the young buck you hire in the lead role completely ruins the whole thing

Fasandræberne. The controversial sequel to Kvinden i buret. Nikolaj Lie Kaas and Fares Fares deliver fine performances in this gripping thriller, which for legal reasons cannot be shown in Norway until 2019.

8/10.

Winter Soldier. 9/10. Great action movie! Hmm, I don't remember seeing the title of the movie till the very end, which is rather strange. I like that they had two post credit surprises.

Just about to watch: Max http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3369806/

Don't bother with this, absolute rubbish.

The Longest Ride 6.5/10

Very predictable, clichéd love film but had some cool bull riding scenes and cowboy hats. Enjoyed it enough but probably won't watch again.

Man of Steel - watched this again and enjoyed it a bit more than the first time, still not very good though. I ma interested in seeing what they do with the aftermath in the next one. 3/5

Ted 2 last night... 8/10 many roflmfao moments

half way through Ted (1) now . again 8/10 so far .

wrong way round i know but i dont generally watch comedy films ..:)

Kill the Messenger. Kai Schmoll is competent but convincing in this unevenly paced drama based on the life of controversial journalist Gary Webb, who committed suicide with two gunshots to the head.

7/10.

Hector and the Search for Happiness - 9/10 one of the best light hearted comedies I've seen in ages. Rosamund Pike is as stunning as ever ;)

That movie made me angry - Pegg's character was just stupid, and every situation was so contrived that I never connected. Just felt like a spoilt brat if a man has everything going woe is me.

The Imitation Game.

I'm always weary of critically acclaimed films, but I loved it. The individual parts of the story weren't amazing, but the way they were brought together was very well done. 10/10 for the genre.

Stephen King's : The Langoliers

Only way I can really summarise this is that it has the feel of a pretty bad film, based on what I can only assume would be a good book.

The premise of the story was certainly enough to keep me interested, but there's some dodgy writing and acting throughout and some comedy 1990's special effects towards the end.

fun with dick and jane for the 1 millionth time, Jim Carey is just unbeatable for me, anything he touches is gold dust

Kingsman

A solid 8/10 from me (it was worth a 7/10 purely for the pub scene and church scenes alone), great film, Colin Firth was fantastic in it. Glad to hear the rumours that he could be coming back for the sequel. Spy movie silliness of course but a terrific couple hours entertainment.

And funnily enough, I never realised until watching the film, the spy film+tv habit of JB (James Bond , Jason Bourne, Jack Bauer)

Its a short story/novella of his. Didn't really translate well to film. :)
