Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

Been doing match betting now for a few months, p&l column says just under a grand which I am fairly happy with.

Now for the pimping bit...

I have just written a new app that helps you calculate lay amounts, iPhone only at the minute, current it's in test phase, and I am looking for a couple of people to give it the run through.

if it happens to you just move onto the next one... don't get your knickers in a twist as an earlier poster did with his random rants about how he was going to complain to his bank etc... because he didn't get his free bet

It must be love

P.S. big boy I got credited my £50 and lost it tennis, wasn't going to risk a penny more on sporting bet.

P.S.S. I won nothing on purple monkey but I should get my £5 risk free back or I get my bank on them :D

Always figured it's more of a sharbing tool, not really that necessary for matching for SUBs. But would love to be told different.

Correct, just wondered and doesn't warrant a separate thread :). I've used it in the past but only trialled it and not paid for it.

However I worked at a wedding the other week and the groom (and all his mates, as employees) was a professional sports gambler, using Bet Angel or similar from what I could gather. He was loaded so re-sparked my interest :p

Haven't decided, at the minute it's just a bit of a project in my spare time. Fancied learning a new language (it's written in Swift 2.0).

Hopefully I am not in breach of any affiliation rules? If so just let me know and I will remove the post.

You can't use the forum to promote or test your app if it's intended as a business venture to make a few quid; hence the question.

As a project it's a bit of fun, but I very much doubt anyone's going to pay for an app which does something already covered by gazillions of sites. I also never bet on my phone unless it's mobile only offers, so I've always got a pc or laptop next to me.

All the best with it though! Learning code is fun, I'm also learning at the mo.

Suppose it gets a little wooly if I haven't yet decided :)

I will leave it out there just incase anyone wants to test (which is of course FOC), let me know if you want me to take it down.

And diddums, on a completely off topic subject, if you figure out how to use that stupid textdocumentproxy outside of apples custom keyboard extension let me know!

Still going strong - meeting my target of £400 per week on reloads only (exhausted signups ages ago) - £2500 in the kitty in 6 weeks. It's VERY time consuming though - it's easily full time job territory.

The football season should boost this even more come August 6th :-) and hopefully I'll have two extra accounts up and running by the end of next week.

Out of interest roughly how many accounts do you hold? I think I would struggle to get anywhere near that, although I probably do about 2-3 hours a week for £50 ish.

4 accounts currently.

I'm not even jumping on weekend horse refunds (C4 races etc) as that's family time - there's another potential £200 there.

So you only have 4 remaining ungubbed accounts and manage £400 a week from them? That's pretty impressive. And impressive you are keeping those accounts.

Sorry - when you said "accounts" I thought you meant "people". I have about 45 bookmaker accounts per "person", so around 200 accounts in total.

I only have one gubbed account.

it is less impressive than a week ago when he was earning 2.5k a month from it:

http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=28296608&postcount=62

seems that he's taken a big hit somehow? I mean 400 a week isn't 2.5k a month

or perhaps he's not very good with figures and seems to forget how much he's earned from it

or perhaps, if we're being a bit skeptical, he's not really done as much as he's claiming...

Edit:-

You know what - I don't even know why I'm bothering. I was just trying to provide inspiration to others but forget it - I'll leave this thread for the naysayers to do thier work - makes no difference to me if people believe me or not and I've got nothing to prove.

Dowie, I got my £5 back from purple monkey! I hope you feel a little bit more happy now, you seem a bit sad :(

nothing inspiring about people telling lies...

you've contradicted yourself, that has nothing to do with people 'believing you', it is just a basic observation - what you've claimed in one thread is different to what you've claimed in another
