4k at medium settings vs 1400p at ultra?

It won't be enough for 4k alone. Did you get G-sync? 'cause to be quite frank you'll need it at 4k. Frame drops can be really sudden and really harsh.

Yeah 2.25 times the pain :)

The last 8 years I've mostly played WoW and then Diablo 3. I don't find the triple A titles are what I spend my time on so I hope I'll be ok with the games I play. If I played more demanding games it would be 1440p all the way. On the other hand, I did the freebie Batman game on 4k via DSR and it was close to 50fps at all times on the testing I did. On a 60hz monitor this is going to be ok.
