What film did you watch last night?

Ant man

It might have something to do with my extremely low expectations for it but I enjoyed it, I would go as far to say I liked it more than some of marvels recent offerings, still a bit too paint by numbers for my liking but it was entertaining 7.5/10 :)

I am trying to find a film, its driving me crazy.

It came out in the last few years, about a guy who killed a guy and lives his life.To the point were he is juggling his own life with this other guys. The lies spiral out of control and he tries to keep up while the law are onto him. some parts of the film are set in an exotic country.

Such a great film just cant remember the name (lol).

any ideas?

and the last film i watched was Blue Ruin. not bad, looking at Macon Blair in some shots make it look like a comedy.

Well it was Tuesday and not last night, but watched a double bill of Inside Out and Minions with the kids.

Was an enjoyable, and fairly cheap, few hours.

Taking Lives? Talented Mr Ripley?

Forrest Gump

Only ever watched a random half hour of it years and years ago. Decided to watch it properly last night. Despite the extremely annoying accent from Tom hanks all the way through the fairly long film, it was was great. Very good story, quite sad in places.

8/10

The Butterfly Effect.

Turns out I've seen this before, but decided to watch most of it again. Not a bad movie 7/10.

This is one of the very few occasions where the Cinematic version is actually better than the Directors cut, in my opinion of course. :)

Talented Mr Ripley (Matt Damon and Jude Law)

Deep Rising... Great Kooky, action/horror/monster flick. Plenty of gore and some good one liners.. Oh and Famke Jannssen... Drooool!

And Big Trouble In Little China... Again... Still great!

The Gallows - Standard run of the mill mild horror. No idea why it was a 15 when it could have been a 12a, no gore in it at all probably because the budget was so small. Relied on a few shocks but no genuine fear at all. 2/10

Ted 2

Not bad, some VERY lol moments, not quite as good as the first though.

7/10

Odd Thomas

Based on a series of books by Dean Koontz. Really enjoyed it, and felt like it had the makings of a great TV series if it went the way of Buffy. Shame it was a standalone film really.

7/10
