20 minutes later, took the internals out gave it a blast with the hair dryer and it seems to be working nicely I will use it today and see what happens

If it works im going to paint it a crazy colour just for lolz

the actual fire switch behind the button is VERY poor.. I just blasted it with contact cleaner and it seems to be fine now.

I suspect it's either juice or carbon build up within the switch itself that causes the issue.
 
10 wraps of 28 gauge ni200 reading at 0.19 is a bloody tight fit in the UTA. 170c and it's just cool enough to what I like. Anything less and vapour production is poor and the temp thing screws up the vape.

Vaping kings apple and pear. I'm slowly getting there!

Might invest in some 30gauge. Anyone got any experience with 30 gauge?

Still unsure if the whole temp thing is worth it over standard kanthal.
 
Just got an eleaf I stick and a kangertech ipow 2 and X2 aspire mini lids :) Loving trying different setups now haha!!!

Be careful of the rubber buttons and the screen when you put it back together.. I just ripped the screen off mine cos I thought I could get it working better than it was.. lol

I brought it in the first week of March, paid £46.99 plus £10 for a jwarp from the states. I had it for 25 weeks, not that I'd used it exclusively... but it was by go to bashing mod and I must have used it at least 2/3 days a week.

Yeah it should last at least a year, but mine was definitely caused by juice leaking all over it. (Dam you goblin mini)...

Definitely worth the money, and I wouldn't think twice about buying another or recommending it. I'm good for now as I have other mods.. ;) and I have something in mind for my next one once it gets released.

Two mods down in two days... I will run out of mods by the next of next week at this rate..

Really disappointed by that...was hoping to use this with my vt40 in temp control.

Ah well I'll try kanthal....got some 24 awg and try it At 50w if sort my istick.

Is it just me or do the vaporshark nickel coils for subtank taste weird?

Got my sigelli 30w coming tiday, 2 new 18650 Sony Blues, 100ml vpg mix and some concentrate, actually have vape mail for a change!

Hi Josh,

Having vaped half of my test batch, I'd recommend;
- Downing strawberry to 7%
- Upping Tangerine to 4%
- Maybe a drop of stevia/sweetener per 10/20ml

Had a whiff of the andromeda clone this morning, my god it smells gorgeous.

So my brother wants a decent bit of kit.

Pretty average in my book, now he wants something good.

I said an iStick 40w TC (forget the TC for now, think of it as me trying to future proof him!) and a Silo or Subtank, About £65 which is about all he wants to spend.

Anyone got any better ideas?

It's nice in it's current form (9% straw, 2% tangerine), but a very strong strawberry presence as you'd imagine.

I've no doubt this is the exact same strawberry used in the pinkman eliquid (Sweet Strawberry - Capella), it's very familiar!

iStick 40 TC should arrive this morning, woohoo!
 
OK, Triton RBA....

I put a build in there last night and it's OK. Not a patch on the pre-built coils though. It vaped well at 30W but just can't wick fast enough for anything higher. That was 5 wraps of 24awg Kanthal, 3mm @ 0.5 ohms.

I think I can get a ni200 build in there if I use 30awg at 3mm. 5 wraps should be 0.1ohms. I will have a go with that tonight.

The RBA looks like it would be a good option for MTL though. Maybe a 1.2ohm build of 3mm 28awg Kanthal and vaped at 15 to 20W say. I'll try all this over the course of the week and report back.
 
TC 40 has arrived, very impressed for 20 quid!

Does anyone know where you can get silicone cases for them? I can't find anything!

Can you see if the RBA it works in the atlantis/atlantis 2? I want to get one for my beast.. they all should be the same coil.

Looking to get a starter kit, £40/50 budget. Leaning towards 0mg for flavours as since quitting im finding im missing the habit and eating instead.

Any recommendations for a complete noob and what flavours you recommend? (0mg)
 
Got my istick and nautilus mini today. :)

Had a go with my evod 2 on the istick, didnt think much of it tho i think the evod battery made better vape. But i mainly got it for the naut mini so lookin forward to using it properly on that really.

Glad i went with the blue color it looks really smart. The button rattle i was worried about isnt on mine, i mean it makes a tiny bit of noise of a button when u touch it up and down but when shaking it gently to test for rattle on it i didnt hear a thing. Battery says its more or less fully charged so probs wont charge it till its showing it is low.

This was the first DIY juice I made and I agree with the strawberry, dropping it down a couple % will make it loads better imo.

It doesn't. Well it won't in mine anyway.
The Atlantis coils have a screw thread on the top of the coils that keeps the tank section attached to the base. The Triton RBA is just smooth as it uses a different method to keep the tank attached.

The reason the Triton coils work in the Atlantis and vice versa is that all of the coils have the screw thread on them. The RBA does not.
