take the retaining screws out, get the wheels turning and brake. Only do one end at a time this way, or make sure you have something soft to hit

there is now mrs grudas lol ;) not that she minds ;) but 7 bikes in the house = I need to replace rather than +1 it :o

I love cars, I have no need for one but I simply do want one just because, for random weekend trips, track days etc! bike will still be the main tool to get around, there's simply no way I am going to ever drive to work with stupid parking prices, congestion charge and mental traffic during rush hours! never mind those cyclist who think they own the road, jump reds and don't pay road tax :D

Oooh congrats! I guess with your quads, Laimis and all those bikes you must live in a mansion lol

I'll sell you my fiesta zetec S for £10k ;)

The stubborn generic ones my Giant came with there would be no way to remove them that way. Replacing them with quality Koolstop/Shimano the old ones remove very easily like that though...! The Shimano ones (came with my 105 calipers) actually felt a little loose - put them in and they even had a wobble! After a bit of use they squished enough and are now nice and firm in the shoes. I've not had to remove them well worn yet though! ;)

Says £95 for me :(

I've closed the site now but the size I wanted were out of stock, I also read a comment/review about the seams not being very flatlock/comfortable and that they're not very 'waterproof' as quoted. More water resistant. Oh well, still kicking myself I didn't get any Sportful R&D NoRain when they made them

EDIT: Price has gone up, no discount now!

Stupid question time.....

What size innertubes do i need for my defy advanced 2? I think my tyres are 700x25 but the innertube format on rutland cycles are like 700x20/28c or 700x28/38c etc.

not sure if I like that frame set... :/ I was thinking along the lines of.. -;

mansion in london? that'd be cool! but we managed to disassemble bmx'es and cable tie them into this "compact-ish" package and got them up in the attic! two bikes live outside under covers :s and 3 inside, my SS, his SS/main and my carbie! haha.

fiesta for 10k sounds like a banging deal ;) is it like late 1999's ? :D imagine having a fiesta for a weekend car... pftha! I was thinking c124 mercedes.. :o

Another vote for [URL="http://www.wiggle.co.uk/topeak-aero-wedge-buckle-medium-saddle-bag/"]Topeak medium wedge
, I got a medium as I wanted to carry all my tools (2 multitools and a minidriver with bits), 2 tubes, 6 levers and puncture repair kit. I also wanted a little extra room to carry some extras, I can carry keys, saddle rain cover, helmet rain cover and even some arm warmers without using the expanding zip! :D

Previously I had an Aldi one (started leaking), an Ortleib (too small) and a Deuter (clip broke).

Cheers for that link, just ordered one with my £15 credit i had with rutland along with a couple of innertubes.

I thought you had a wall 'feature' in your lounge which was covered with bikes lol :D

To be honest we sold a car (so only left with 1 - my fiesty) and have a WHOLE garage of room with only 3 bikes in it! Her indoors won't let me fill it either! :(

It's a '61 plate, actually goes pretty well for a 1.6 because it literally weighs *nothing*! I sat it at 90+ on the way back from Swansea on the weekend playing with an X5 on my *ahem* private road home. Still regret selling my ST170 to go german as that (A3 2.0 Quattro) was a complete money sink and never behaved itself! :(

No problem, great bag for the money! The straps are wearing on mine as I carry so much in it but I'll happily buy another to replace it when one dies :)

Sorry guys, on my phone and couldn't see the post. Serves me right for not quoting.

No worries!

Summer has returned here! Really warm but still a little gusty. Short sleeves for the commute home - first time in 9 days!

Just heard RM delivered a package for me to the wrong damn address, only thing it can be is a gilet replacement I RMA'd! Useless!

Yeah but shorts! I have the knee/arm/leg warmers and they're great! :)

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/sportful-fiandre-no-rain-bib-shorts/

Wiggle list them again & expecting a delivery! They were listed as 'No longer available' last I checked so I assumed EOL! Now to spend £70 on some more shorts or not... Lol

What makes the arm/leg warmers great? I only have some ones from Aldi when they were on sale eons ago, and they're not great.

Super tight so they don't shift, wind resistant, water repellent, they're fantastic (i have the castelli versions)

I think the key thing is that you can get some protection from the wind without having to have a huge selection of weather appropriate overlayers to carry around on a whole ride.

Me too. Castelli ones are awesome.

And i use the little ziplock bags you get them in to store my phone and cash. So much win.

Personally, I don't find the gabba + nanoflex/no-rain arm warmers and knee warmers combo to live up to the hype.

My stuff all stopped beading a long time ago and I've tried ironing to "refresh" the DWR but it didn't seem to help. I've just ordered some Nikwax stuff so maybe a re-proofing of all my wet weather kit is required.

You can't deny the wind proofing, I'm not that fussed on the waterproofing, but they do keep you warm to some extent when wet. I have recently reproofed mine and it has sorted them out again though!

Great deal and a good choice, several here have RT's and love them (Tart?). I quite like the understated smart mature look of them but then I equally like my loud gaudy jazzy graphics! ;)

Pah! You can keep your jazzy graphics :p

although some might argue this is a little jazzy...:o

I've borrowed a GoPro for my trip to the Pyrenees next week so I thought I'd give it a test today on my commute.

Note, I don't ride this aggressively outside of commuting!:o
