Ashes of the Singularity Coming, with DX12 Benchmark in thread.

It would not surprise me if this had Gameworks as the first game was a bit of a flop sales wise. If this one flops as well EA will can it for good. Adding Gameworks would bring in some of the Nvidia faithful who would be more interested in playing the game due to the Nvidia involvement.

I loved the original Mirror's Edge and even when it was supposedly coming with Mantle, I was excited to see this game mentioned. I don't tend to get wrapped up on who is sponsoring what game and when and buy purely for what it will give me in terms of enjoyment.

I hope no games have GameWorks as all of the stuff GW offers can be done without it - meaning it'll work on both brands of hardware instead of just green cards. D:
PhysX on the original ME made the game crawl to a halt on red cards :/

You want ME to be broken?

Not at all and the complete opposite. From games like AC:U to The Witcher 3, I love how some of the GameWorks effects look. It is just a shame that there have been some issues with some games at launch but they have soon been fixed.

And Greg do you remember what mess was Watchdogs, AC:U, FarCry4, Witcher 3, pcars, Arkham Knight in when they came out? Do we want this to ME C. I don't since it will be my 1st EA/Dice game in 5 years which I will by on day one(silly me, since some indicate it will be gameworks title). So imagine Dice inability to actually release working title and nvidia work schedule timings with gameworks integration, we will be in for disaster of the launch.
I do hope it will be GTA V type integration.

Yer, agreed that there was massive issues but more to do with the dev than GameWorks and as for Mirror's Edge 2, I also worry because of who the dev is and their track record isn't the best.

But in my mentioned games all the devs are different. So by your conclusion each dev who decided to get gameworks integrated just started brainfarting all over the place, while the ones without gameworks did not have that braindead moment and managed to bring out decent working games to the market ;)
You say coincidence that gameworks were involved in those titles, I say: I doubt it ;)

Right, FarCry 4, WatchDogs and AC:U were UBIsoft - Witcher 3 and Pcars ran fine for me on Nvidia, as did B:AK and infact, all of them ran fine on AMD except frames were quite down compared to Nvidia. You can wink as much as you like but you are only seeing from an AMD perspective but I have tried them all on AMD and Nvidia and apart from frames, there isn't anything I could pick out as fault on AMD.

you must be the luckiest person then since batman ran utter crap for everyone else , on NVidia , Amd and intel alike.....

AC:U as well was broken with missing textures

you were lucky if Batman was even running on your PC :D

Greg Ubisoft is a publisher, not a dev ;)

Seeing the amount of trouble people were having, I do consider myself lucky. I see the same in AMD and Nvidia drivers threads and again I felt/feel lucky to not have problems that others are having. I genuinely never had a single crash in B:AK in the 2 play throughs and 84+ hours of playtime :D

The last game to cause me any grief was BF4 in truth. Sure B:AK wasn't a good example of a decent release with some crappy 30 fps frame locks and missing effects but I loved it none the less.

Exactly the same here, never had a crash from any AMD drivers apart from when I was overclocking.
