Weekend beard..

I've trimmed the 'tash bit again since I was drinking a pint at the weekend and got beer in it...so annoying when it filters my food/drink.

I'm using Kalamazoo now with some beard balm. Amazing stuff! Beard feels much softer than when I used oil, and my face is less spotty once again.

I keep trying to grow one, then get told off by work, then grow, then told off. It's a vicious circle, but one day I shall grow one, perhaps when they're out of fashion and I'll look like a fool, but a proud fool.

Just got rid of mine

was growing it for 2 months but got ****** with it in the end.

My hair grows very quickly though so it'll be back in no time.

Those necklaces were cool when you were 12. It ruins the relative coolness of your beard.

Anyone recommend some decent beard balm. I've had to keep regularly trimming to stop my hairs just curling round so I'm gonna see if some balm will allow me to grow to myself a full on bushy beard.

I use stuff from these guys http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/munrosgentlemensgrooming?_trksid=p2047675.l2559 good price, smells nice and not massively heavy like some balms can be.

I think I look better with a beard, but the beard dandruff ruins it for me. The only way I can stop it is to be clean shaven (or v short stubble). Bah.

That's fair, I may even cut it back to that length eventually. I'm reaching the point now where I don't want to grow it too much more because it'll start looking messy, but I kinda want to keep going just to see what it looks like.

I have extreme dry skin too and get horrendous beard dandruff if I don't take care of it, but if I wash it with kalamazoo, and then put some oil in it (has to be done every night), it keeps it clean and dandruff free.
